“Wonderful stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2012

Salam Hakim, Kaefa halook
We stayed here last July for a week. We can’t fault the service provided by Hakim and his team. The food was excellent and cooked to order. We had a couple of really nice nights by the pool, eating a wonderful meal, in the moonlight. Hakim was always on hand to organise trips into town, he also organised for us to go to the local water park.
The riad was quiet, spotlessly clean and peaceful. It was stylish and authentic.
Due to flight delays we were overbooked on the first night. Hakim took us to another riad that was equally as nice, and picked us up the following morning.
If you are dithering about whether to stay, just book it, you will not be disappointed.
Shoukran Hakim (I really hope my spelling is right)

Both my wide and I stayed at the Terra Mia in May and whilst we were the only guests, that did not detract from the very high level of service received, i.e. from being picked up at the airport, and ferried into Marrakesh. Hakim, his dad, (Omer), mother, (Maliki), and of course, the head porter, (Abhraim), could not have been more helpful. Looking forward to my next stay.

I stayed at Terra Mia at the end of April 2012. I went with four friends and we stayed in a private villa with our own pool. From the moment we were greeted and the airport to the moment we were dropped back, the whole experience was amazing. The villa was beauitful, clean and spacious. The pool was fantstic. We ate at the hotel for every meal (except for lunch in the city 1 day) and every meal was exceptional.
Brian (ibrihim) was outstanding in his service and kindness during our stay.
I will most definatly be returning to Morocco in the future and would not hesitate to stay here again. 5 stars

Room Tip: The private villas are excellent for groups

Beautiful, peacefull, relaxing, real fresh home cooked Moroccan food prepared to order every day, If you want drunken partying and poolside games with loud music and European style mass catering go and stay elsewhere, if you want to relax, recharge, feel looked after in a more personal home style environment and enjoy morocco this is undeniably THE place to stay, I cannot reccomend it highly enough, it deserves every 5 star review you have read on here and then some , I have travelled extensively and vowed never to visit the same place twice but this would be the exception to the rule for me , i would definitely rate a very strong 10/10

We had four wonderful days at the riad last September and cannot fault our holiday at all. The riad is beautiful, tranquil even when it was pretty much full, set in lovely grounds. Our first floor room was clean and well decorated. The food was fantastic, the 'honesty' drinks fridge a great idea and all the staff and Hakim couldn't be more helpful. We found the shuttle great, but then we had no strict schedule we wanted to keep to - every day after breakfast we were asked if we wanted to go into the centre, there was a choice of morning or afternoon, and always got a good 'half' day in town. We wanted an easy going, peaceful base for some r'n'r + light Marrakesh pottering, and this fit the bill perfectly.

Lots of people have been reviewing this hotel with 5 stars, and lots of people have been questioning if this was too be good to be true or would be a disappointment in real life.

The short version: you will not be disappointed in any way, all that is said about the staff / food / location / accommodation is true. Most helpfull staff there is, food that did not give even our 2 year old boy any problems (while eating there almost every day) and very peacefull 7 spacious rooms with nice beds and quiet sleeping environment.

If you have (small) kids this could well be the most relaxing holidays you have ever had, with the possibility of going to Marrakech whenever you want and do this from a perfect quite oasis just outside the city.

The only thing we could think of (if really pressed to it) was the temperature of the swimming pool. But if this is the only thing (and it is...) that is bad about the place, you should book now.

Room Tip: The rooms on the ground floor seem to be more cool...

This quiet Raid is set in beautiful gardens with fantastic view of the Atlas Mountains. All of the rooms are clean, beautifully furnished with traditional furniture, art work and fresh flowers.

The service from this professional family run establishment is wonderful.

The shuttle is organised in consultation with other vistors - and this worked well for us. We could go into Marrakesh during the day and sometimes there were evening trips - one round trip is free (additional trips are chargable). You are only 20 mins from Marrakesh centre or the airport - they also offer to collect and drop you back to the airport again - no charge. It was fantastic not having to worry about booking a taxi - no stress or worry. Hakim will also organise other trips to the mountains etc.

The meals in the Raid are very good - we were never disappointed. A 3 course meal for 2 people with a bottle of wine and water was approximately 750 Dm.

Unfortunately we left it too late to book the Hamam - book early it is very popular. Hakim did offer to find other alternatives but we decided to just chill by the pool instead.

We viewed one of the villa's - if we returned with family or another couple we would book one of these. You have two bedrooms (sleeping 2 and 3 persons) plus two bathrooms, a lounge, a kitchen (no oven/kettle - just a room with a fridge for storing cold drinks which the Raid/hotel supplies which are not very expensive), a private pool and sun terrace. You are very close to the main raid for meals if you wish.

All of the staff/family are so very helpful and want you to enjoy your stay. This really made our holiday - especially on our last day - THANK YOU so much for looking after us so well.
