The rooms in this Hostel are very cheap and wie didn´t expect too much.
We were positively surprised about it.
We didn´t find the hostel easily in the Souks. Locals had to help us to find it.
We had to take the breakfast in a nearby Riad. It was simple but sufficient.
Everyday bread, butter, honey and mint-tea/coffee.
The Double-Room was a Triple, but this wasn´t a disadvantage. Instead of some other rooms our room had a window. Unfortunately , smoke got in our room in the night because of the nearby hammam. The beds consisted completely out of foam. That was sufficient for one week, but when you layed too long on it, they lost their elasticity and holes occurred in the matraces. That reduced the quality of our sleep.
The asian style toilet on our floor was literally combined with a simple shower, but with warm water. In the floor above there wasn´t warm water, but an obviously clean european style toilet. Everyday we saw a cleaning-woman clean the sanitary-installations and the corridor and stairs.
At first the staff didn´t want to give us the key for our room, they said that it wouldn´t be necessary because "they were always there", but when we insisted, they gave us one.We had the same problem with the receipt of our paying, but we also insisted here and eventually got one.
