“Wonderful in every way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

This riad is an ideal place to stay in Marrakech. The decor is beautiful, the rooms well appointed and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. We loved the fact that it is a 10-15 minute walk to the souks as it gave as a chance to enjoy the sights and sounds of the medina. If you are worried about getting lost the riad will provide you with an escort/guide. Excellent hamman and other spa treatments are also available. All in all a fabulous place which we will be returning to in the future. Many thanks to Emma and her excellent team

Fabulous terrace with views of Atlas mountains. Great rooms with all mod cons. Charming service and delicious food. Excellent advice on dealing with local amenities. Very quiet in upstairs rooms. What else can one say, other than go again and test the other trips arranged by Marcus and Emma.

I stayed at Zamzam Riad for 2 nights in late 2013 and found the accommodations exquisite and the service to be top-shelf. Marcus (owner) and his staff were exceptional in all respects. They left nothing to chance - arranging transportation to/from the riad, assisting with navigating the media, helping with restaurant recommendations and reservations, and offering travel tips for other cities throughout Morocco. The service was attentive, warm and friendly. Moreover, the food was remarkable - we looked forward to breakfast every morning on the sunny rooftop terrace, and had the most amazing lunch on our day of arrival. The riad has undergone a wonderful restoration and the guest suites and public areas are clean and charming. In terms of location, Zamzam is conveniently located on the northern end of the medina, a short walk to everything. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this riad to friends traveling to Marrakech.

Room Tip: The Palm Suite is excellent with a large walk-in shower

What a contrast place from the rest of Marrakech! Nice, quiet, peaceful, and amazing place after a day hustling and bustling in the city. From the outside, I couldn't even tell there was a heaven in there... as soon as I walked in the door, I could just relaxed.
The staff are friendly and the service are great.
Let the hotel staff arrange your transportation to and from the airport!

Room Tip: all rooms are quiet.

The Riad is large and beautiful plus spotlessly clean, rooms very comfortable and again super clean plus the staff here make every effort to ensure you get what you want and are comfortable throughout! Well worth a stay, thanks guys n girls we will be back !!!! The breakfasts were the best food we had during the visit.

Being in Marrakesh and not staying inside the Old Medina is the same as missing the best of it. Zamzam Riad is a very good place to stay. The highlight is the lovely staff who will take care of you in a very special way. Imane and Faisal made me feel like a queen and made my trip quite customized. Ask for the medina tour with their guide, who is a bright and cultured man and will give you a different view of the place.

Room Tip: There is no TV in the rooms, which is good. But if you really can´t live without TV, ask for the mas...

Nice room, interesting area and authentic. Dinner and food was absolutely lovely - really nicely cooked and good quality ingredients - complements to the chef. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The main square is about a 15 minute walk away. Would recommend getting the Riad to pick you up from the airport as the driver will walk you directly to the Riad from the place where taxis are parked.
