“Lovely hotel and staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

Stayed for three nights at this lovely hotel. Beautiful rooms, clean and comfortable. Very helpful and extremely friendly staff. Sofia is well known among taxi drivers for her ability to get guests the best possible prices (!!) and offered very valuable advice concerning where to shop, and what money to pay for what we bought. She takes it to heart that you will not be tricked! And the owner is a wonderful woman with great sense of humour.
The hotel itself is beautiful too, with lush vegetation in courtyards, cool inside, and a lovely pool where you can have delicious lunches.
The hotel also boasts one of the best restaurants in town.
The location is fantastic - only half an hour walk away from the Medina (5 minutes by taxi), and about 15 minutes drive from the airport.

Room Tip: Even the comfort rooms are great. We stayed in number 16 Dar Dada, a corner room, which was especial...

We had booked this hotel as part of a last minute deal, so we were very anxious about the hotel as we know how misleading hotel websites can be. The trip adviser reviews were unanimous, in praise which did elevate my concerns somewhat. Luckily we had nothing to worry about! I shall add my voice to the chorus of approval!

The rooms are clean, well designed and spacious. Our rooms was opposite the Agdal gardens which is a wonderful site to great you as you wake up. The room had these stained glass windows so you were awoken by beautiful patterns on the wall. Although, it's a hotel it is built in a raid style with rooms built around a courtyard. The design is elegant while remaining authentic.

The staff were very friendly and addressed us by our names as soon as we arrived and throughout our stay. Miss Myra one of the sisters who own the property greeted us every morning at breckfast and Sofia the assistant manager was on hand to offer us local tips for going out. The location is just on the southside of the city, so it's taxi's into town. The advantage is the peaceful location, which is near a mulit screen cinema and a Carrefour!

I can not recommend this hotel highly enough, the staff, location and rooms are all great reasons for me to plan a return stay!

This all female run restaurant serves great home style Moroccan meals. The shoulder of lamb for two people came with the meat juicy and easy to pull apart. Accompanied by couscous and vegetables if was filling and delicious. The mixed skewers was also nicely grilled and complemented by a wonderful tomato sauce.

Stayed here overnight in between coming back from a trip to the Sahara and our flight out of Marrakech. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, the staff was very friendly, and the restaurant is excellent (one of the best in Marrakech, we were told). It made for a relaxing evening after a lot of driving and before a plane ride the next morning. The only downside is the distance from the hotel to the medina and most of the sights in Marrakech. If you really want to explore the city and avoid taking taxis (which makes life a lot easier for a tourist in Marrakech), a riad in the medina might be a better choice. Since we were just looking for a nice place near the airport for one night, however, this hotel was perfect.

We stayed here for four nights. Before the holiday we booked it only for one night but found it so good we ended staying 3 extra nights. Built in the traditional Riad style, the rooms are generous in size and spotlessly clean. Al Fassia Aguedal was good value, given the standard of accommodation, as we had come at one of the season's busy times. Myra and her staff provide contemporary Moroccan hospitality with great warmth and commitment. The restaurant is excellent, and run by Wafi (apologies for spelling) serving interesting vegetarian food and wine, neither of which are standard options in Marrakech restaurants. Sofia was always fun to talk to and frank with her advice on where to go and how to get there. I was heartened by meeting this amazing team of young Moroccan females who play a central role in ensuring the hotel is run with professionalism, style and good humour. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. I look forward to coming back again to stay.

Stayed for 5 nights late November and absolutely loved it here! The staff are some of the nicest people I've ever met, nothing is too much trouble and all had great knowledge of Marrekesh. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the hotel is a beautiful place, ideal for relaxing in after a day in the markets. Whilst a little more expensive, the restaurant is a must try I fell in love with the Kefta tagine with eggs! Hamman and massage experience is worth every penny too.

Couldn't recommended this place more highly, a stunning stay!

Only stayed one night but it was worth it. Situated near the airport and also near the station which suited us.
Even the staff were quietly spoken and very helpful.
Large room and clean bathroom, robes and slippers, fresh fruit in the room and a large bottle of water in the fridge. great.
We ate in their restaurant and the quality of food and service was excellent, we had the Kefta (tajine of meatballs) and the price was very reasonable.
Would not hesitate to return.
