Description: Our new restaurant, “Les Trois Saveurs”, which offers a choice of French, inventive Moroccan or Asian-inspired dishes. Our head chef, Didier Levy, was previously in charge of the kitchen at “Le Pavillon”, considered for many years the best French restaurant in Marrakech. Didier has a passion for seafood, which is bought fresh to the hotel from the coastal towns of Oualidia and Essaouira. The handmade teardrop-shaped lanterns at “Les Trois Saveurs” were specially designed for La Maison Arabe by Yahya Rouach; his workshop is producing the most refined metalwork in Morocco today.

“Beautiful setting, attentive staff but overpriced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

Ate there recently whilst on long weekend. The place is a bit hard to find in the dark, lookout for the small sign above your heads! And then follow the atmospheric outdoor candles along the close. Started with drinks in the bar, reasonably priced cocktails, cheery staff and pianist on ivories which was soothing after hard day at the souks. Restaurant is beautiful, nice ceiling, colourful red/Moroccan lighting, live guitar music, friendly and enthusiastic staff. Food though was overpriced, more expensive than London which says something. It was good food, lamb and chicken were very tender, but not fantastic by any means and you could undoubtedly get same quality elsewhere for cheaper. But it is a lovely venue and so maybe you are paying a bit for that, and Churchill ate here multiple times (according to their menu) and he was a fierce critic so perhaps it was just us that were a little disappointed. We enjoyed ourselves but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. You should try it but make sure wallet is fully furnished...

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for your comments.
A restaurant's prices may reflect many things:
the quality of the food, of course, but also
the setting, service, and in the case of La Maison Arabe,
the exceptional musical accompaniment.
There are indeed less expensive restaurants in Marrakech,
which I doubt can offer all of the above, as well as plenty of
more expensive restaurants. I would like to point out to readers
that the menu in our Moroccan restaurant offers an
appetizer, main dish, and dessert for 350 Dirhams ( =
approx 42 US$, or 31 €, or 27 GBP at today's exchange
rates).

“Lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

I have dined at La Maison Arabe quite a few times before and it never disappoints. The mezze spoils you for choice, but my favourite has to be the fruity Tangine L’Orange with couscous, which is simply exquisite. I loved sitting outside in the garden by the light of the pool and a welcoming cool breeze!

“Best food and ambience in Marrakech”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

This was a wonderful surprise, the restaurant and the food was amazing. My husband and our friend had the lamb tagine and I had the Sea Bass. Would go back to Morocco just to eat here and do their cooking class. We sat outside even though it was cold and were given lovely robes to put on and fires, nice background music. All in all Fantastic, can't wait to go back.

“Stylish Morroccan restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

We ate here twice during our stay at La Maison Arabe. The first time I made a bad choice of main course (it was a little heavy for me) but the second time I chose the lamb tagine of the season which was delicious. You have to try the house speciality dessert of file pastry with ice cream and walnuts - I had it both times! Excellent live music and very attentive staff.

“Nice Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

We had a really good starter with a delicious variety of salad/vegetables served in small tagine pots - just the kind of rustic flavoursome food we were hoping for. We made the mistake of ordering two sweet tagine dishes...the beef and orange and the Royale...lamb and apricot. One of those balanced with something more savoury would have been a much better choice. The food is great to share. The tagines were good but I would have enjoyed a more savoury balance to the fruit which was so intensely sweet. The dining room is really beautiful and the live music and roaring fire were welcomed.
