“Popular Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

Quite French but traditional. The building is fabulous and has lots of history. I chose well and enjoyed my food, my friends didn't have quite the same success. It's outside of the Medina in the modern town so it made a change for us. Quite expensive. Worth trying though. It seemed to be the place to go for the well off.

“Delicious, great service and ambience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

Beautiful old French hotel building. The service was fast and attentive without being intrusive. Professional and old school, food was delicious and very welcome break from tagines. Steak was slightly overdone but that seems to be the norm in morocco. Deserts were massive. Overall very impressed.

“A good place for a meal.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

I enjoyed sitting in the sun, drinking a juice and eating a tasty meal. The service was good too. This is in the quieter area of town, a welcome calm away from the medina.

“Very colonial”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

If you've got longer to stay in Marrakech, this is worth a try, but not typically Moroccan - in fact it's very colonial! The menu was quite imaginative and food of a high standard. The setting was very stylish - an agreeable setting for a friendly get together. The service was good and uninstrusive. It is quite pricey, though.

“Nice evening out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

With all respect for the Moroccan food it was nice to have one evening a different kind of food. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, very kolonial with the French brasserie touch. High ceilings and tall plants. The menu was good, especially the desserts! The profitterolles with home made icecream and chocolate sauce is a must! We had the sole, steak tartar and meat skewers as a main course. All very tasty. The service was also good. The only comment I can make is thatnit was quite dark which made it difficult to clean your fish... But overall a very nice night out!
