“enjoyable experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

We went to Pepenero without booking and were asked to book for 2 days later. Wonderering where to go, the restaurant manager very kindly asked us what type of food we liked and asked one of his staff to take us to Dar Essalam. It was a bit of a walk so very nice of them. Really pleased with the place, very, very special. it is all set menus 250 to 350. We had the cheapest and selected salads which were really nice, lentils, broad beans, aubergine etc. Main course was chicken tagine which was gorgeous followed by fruit, biscuit and mint tea. we are finding that prices are the same as at home, so not cheap, but good value here. Entertainment was fun, live band all night, belly dancer and a lady who danced with a tray on her head! Tourist place, but we are tourists. Service was friendly, a really nice evening.

“Great entertainment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

We went here on our last night, great belly dancers and the service is second to none. The food was very traditional and was great. The archetecture of the building is wonderful. Would recommend you try this. has to be booked in advance as well.

“Barely Average”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

We visited the restaurant as part of a Hotel excursion, the food and service was nothing above average. We food both the soft and alcoholic drinks to be very pricey, I wouldn't both seeking it out during your stay at Marrakech.

“Good night out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

Although the food is "OK" the show was great. It made a nice change to just be able to sit back and enjoy. The service was very good and although a bit pricey, you do get live music and the show.

“Good Entertainment”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013 via mobile

The entertainment and venue was great. The food was hit and miss. We would recommend the lamb and vegitable tagine. If you go expecting the food to wow then i would choose elsewhere. If you want to be entertained this is perfect.
