“Not as good at used to be”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2011

Third time we go to this restaurant that used to be really great (French cuisine) in 2 years but for the very first time we were a bit disappointed. Food still okay but not as fine as before. And a strange feeling ; atmosphere not as chic and cosy as it used to be.. as if the whole place weren't the same anymore. And Chef Didier Beckaert didn t show up as he always did... Will go again next time we are in Marrakech. Maybe was it just back luck.

“Well worth a visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2011

OK, this restaurant is about as Moroccan as the Eiffel Tower but if you have had that one Tagine too many then this is the perfect place for excellent European cuisine. The food is very French, well presented, well cooked and served with a smile.
Its a little expensive but well worth it.

“Amazing food, Amazing ambience, Amazing service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2010

I am an expat living in Casablanca and my problem with moroccan restaurants is always the lack of service and attention to details.

La Villa was instead a superb experience. I had some outstanding foie gras and some horse meat that was to die for.

And the service was amazing too!

“WONDERFULL.... NO COUSCOUS AND TAGINE!!!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2010

We stay three nights in Marrakesch in we went all the nights here.
Taste the carpaccio of row fish, foi-gras, glilled prowns, fantastic row tartare of veal, very good list of wines.
Romantic and charming atmosfere in the Hivernage area, with very attentives staff.
Owners ok.
Go for a not usual dinner in Marrakesch, you will dine in a open air veranda with electric roof just in case of raining.
We spent for two people MAD 1.100 (more or less e 104,00) for 4 main plats, cofee, whine and water).

“Fine dining french style”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2010

You could imagine this classy restaurant to be in Paris. Very friendly chef Didier Baekert and excellent food.

if walking along Ave Kennedy take care not to waklk past. the sign is round the corner. Easier to spot the Art Deco Villa.
