Had a great stay at Riad 58 Blu, room was lovely, very comfortable and excellent service from the team. Mohammed and Ismail were always there instantly when needed, and very discreet the rest of the time - perfect! Everything worked seamlessly, no complaints at all.
Paolo (owner) would appear at breakfast and sometimes in the afternoon, always very warm and welcoming.
This Riad is a 5-10 minute walk from the main square on the opposite side to the main souk areas. It's a little away from the main action but not too far, and has a few excellent restaurants very close by if you want to eat locally.
Free airport pickup was arranged - it could be difficult to find otherwise, but once shown where it is we found it very easy to locate again - the old town is a warren so nice to be able to go straight back to the Riad without getting lost.
Have marked it down on sleep quality only because there is currently building work next door which woke us up in the morning - not til 9am or so, so not too early, and of course it will be finished soon - so maybe this is a little unfair. Also knocked a notch off the location only because by our last day (4) the walk back started to feel a little long - again maybe unfair, this is Marrakech and you will be doing lots of walking!
We are a well travelled couple and quite critical, this is a great Riad.

Other places we liked in Marrakech were Le Bain Bleu (Hammam & Spa, amazing), PepeNero (Restaurant, quite expensive, VERY close to 58 Blu, massive portions), Restaurant Le Fondouk (get on the roof terrace, quite expensive, best food), and Cafe Arabe (super relaxed atmosphere deep in the souks).
We never made it to Paolo's Italian restaurant in New Town, sorry P, but sure it would've been amazing.

Ishmayel, Mohammed & all the staff at Riad 58 Blu couldn't be more helpful.
The food was excellent & plentiful and the rooms were lovely,
Everyone was ready to offer advise book in hammans/reastuarants, organise drivers for trips etc.

The owner Paulo and the staff at Riad 58 made every element of our stay in Marrakech truly magical. We got picked up from the airport at no extra charge; they prepared a beautiful meal for us on the roof, the night we arrived; Mohammed, the manager, even went out and bought our bus tickets for us for the next leg of our travels.
Marrakech was sweltering and manic but coming back to the Riad was like entering a different world: tranquil, cool and incredibly welcoming.
A special mention about Ishmail needs to be made- his patience at my floundering French skills was remarkable and he really couldn't have done any more for us.
We highly recommend staying here. It's great value for money, beautifully decorated and the service is fabulous!

We started our honeymoon here and it was brilliant!!! Very clean, incredibly beautiful and the staff couldn't do enough for us - especially mohammed!!! They gave us loads of advice (great as new travellers) and even walked us to the square on our first night.

Gorgeous local breakfast and the meal that they cooked for us on the terrace on our last night was really magical - the fruit salad made us laugh though (a banana, apple and peach on a plate!!!)

We'd definately definately go back!
