Wow! What a place! Spent two nights in Marrakech during our tour of Morocco, and Dar Hania was the perfect place to stay in the medina. We were touring via auto, and the owners, Cecile and Remi, who had been in contact via email prior to our arrival ( thanks so much for the history of the raid and the travel info!) gave us great directions into the medina, and even arranged for one of their staff(Aziz...thanks for your solicitous and professional attention) to meet us and escort us to the car park. The place itself is gorgeous. Our room (with two twin beds) was comfortable and beautifully appointed, decorated in an understated way with indigenous art and artifacts. The owners' aesthetic is based on their personal connection to the property and Marrakech, and their family history (and its integral part of the owners' vision) really contributes to the vibe of the place. The lounge is likewise beautiful, with a great library and music collection, and the ubiquitous breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious. You can not go wrong by reserving at this wonderful place. We will definitely be back.
