“Classic Moroccan set menu, done really well”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

The only downside to this place was that it was abit quiet, there was ony one other table and us. But the setting, food and service was all very good. We went early on in our week so hadn't tired of the set menus and usual dishes.

“Amazing find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

Wrnt here on our first night in Marrakech with my boyfriend. We both agree it was the best place we went to. It had a set menu which basically means the food just keeps coming! I think it was about 6 courses in the end. Service was outstanding, food was beautiful, atmosphere was...different...it's very small with just tables around the outside and you feel silly like you have to whisper. But this all adds to the ambience of the night. Would highly highly recommend and wish we'd gone for our last night as well.

“Excellent if you can find it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

Recommended by friends it didn't disappoint. I would reiterate the advice 'go hungry' as the 5 course set menu is a challenge for most people.
The restaurant is set in a court yard under an open sky with amazing live music.
The starter comprised of 12 tasting dishes and local wine of your choice. The 2 mains were amazing and deserts a brilliant representation of local cuisine. The menu changes everyday and the staff were knowledgable and attentive.
The only minor niggle was finding it, either people didn't know it's location or in asking for directions you were a target for those trying to make a quick buck. It is tucked away down a series of back alleys and it's hard to understand why more effort isn't made to signpost people from the main street.

“Only set menu and quite expensive”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

The Moroccan food served is not bad....but you have only the possibility of a set menu ddespite youur appetite with the consequent high price.
The place in a little street of the Medna of Marrrakech, not easy to be found, is small but charming.
Good ethnic muusic; but it is not enough.

“Wow! A real treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

Tucked away in the back streets of Marrakech, this is a hidden gem. If you can find it, you are in for a treat! My boyfriend and I ate there to celebrate his birthday, and we ended up staying for over 4 hours. You are required to pre-book, and for a set price of around £50, you get fed like royalty, with (from memory), around 10 courses of exquisite Moroccan food. Certainly more than enough to satisfy even the biggest appetites. The atmosphere is one of indulgence and the building is pretty romantic; tables are strewn with rose petals, lighting is by candles and unobtrusive live music is performed most nights. I'd rank this in the top three restaurants I've ever been to.
