“Weekend Break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

The food is of very good quality with a mix or Moroccan and Western dishes available. They are a little more expensive then the other restaurants nearby but worth it.

“So much more than just a cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Amazing food, very friendly service and a great atmosphere!

Really popular with the "traveller crowd", serving some great Moroccan food (camel burgers, cous cous etc) and a really chilled out vibe... made to feel so welcome and can happily spend a few hours there!

As well as food theres a cinema room, reading room and cookery school which we explored and I would highly recommend a visit early on in your trip so as to get involved with some of their other events!

Would definitely recommend the almond milkshake too!

“Fun place to relax and cool off.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

Go to the rooftop for great views. We just had sodas and a snack plate of hummus which was good. It is like a cultural cafe with different events on different days. There was a boys' folk dance show the afternoon we visited.

“nice feel and menu but not prefect”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

The atmosphere is pleasantly backpacker/expat friendly. Menu interesting incudign the famous camel burger and staff helpful. Not much of a view from the roof but the various floors and rooms make for a nice feel. All in all this makes for a "safe" venue comprared to taking your chances at a more 'authentic' tourist restaurant.

However I am pretty sure it was here that we picked up a bit of a stomach bug (very straightforward breakfast and this was our lunch then we felt unwell).

Still worth a stop.

“Friendly and full of ambiance!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

This place is incredible in design and a delicious place to stop for a snack or meal. Located near the Bab Boujeloud, this cafe serves Moroccan (Fessi) dishes as well as some Western standards (ricotta pancakes, anyone?). The owner is a delight to speak with, and is very involved with the operations of the place. Great local art to ponder while you snack on Maqoudda (deep fried spiced potatoes) and have a homemade date milkshake! They also have a lot of cultural activities during the evenings.
