The service here was outstanding. Food traditional and served on beautiful traditional dishes.. Former family home restored so each room was decorated differently. Don't know the prices as was part of an OAT tour. Laundry service available.

This was a very special stay during an OAT trip at the end of March. It is a very typical old Moroccan home that previous reviewers state was built 600 years ago. The home has belonged to the current family for 73 years. The owner, Rashi and his family members who work there, including Fatima and Asiz, were warm, welcoming and clearly very proud of their home.

My room was on the second floor and was quite comfortable. There were some minor issues, low lighting in bedroom and bathroom, but nothing that would keep me from returning here on a next trip or recommending it highly.

Food was delicious. Service excellent and attentive. Location good.

I gave 4 stars because I noted black mold in the bathroom. I am not affected by this but some might be.

Stayed at this Riad for 2 nights as part of an OAT trip in late March 2014. The "family" operated hotel is "The Real Morocco" experience. Sure some improvements could be made, like more hooks to hang a towel or jacket, a night light for the bathroom, but those are minor. Family staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed.

This was an awesome Riad, comfy and beautifully designed. The staff typically Moroccan, hardworking and helpful. The bathroom lacked some commodities, but all else was perfect. Located directly across from a school, the children in their daily routine and a mosque, you hear a call for prayer. Very peaceful and culturally engaging .

We had been staying in a not-so-spectacular, albeit 'historic', hotel in Rabat, and decided to extend a Fes day trip to spend a night in a traditional riad. There was a mistake in booking for our original destination, but the innkeepers there suggested this neighboring riad upon our late evening arrival. We were welcomed by smiling faces, a great meal, and top hospitality!
This fantastic home was perfectly clean. The staff was wholly accommodating to every need - going above and beyond! Special dietary needs? No problem - a gluten free break-feast was delivered to accommodate my celiac, while my companions enjoyed fresh bread along with their meal!
This riad is a short walk to the maze of the medina, and to a petit taxi stop - making it super convenient to come and go.
I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone, and would love the opportunity to visit again myself!

We stayed in this Riad our first night in Fes. After gaining the train in Cassablanca we emailed ahead at a wi-fi hot spot and asked the riad to send a driver to meet us. We were out of a wi-fi zone pretty fast so were so very thankful when we arrived at the train station to find our taxi driver waiting for us with our names on a paper. The riad was short trip from the train station and located just inside the medina near the Batha making access easy to get in or out of the mazes of alleys.

We were given a room on the ground floor which was very nice and had a wonderful shower, comfortable bed and small television with a few channels for background noise. We also had dinner in the Riad which was fantastic but a bit over hurried in the sense the staff was running around but all the diners were in for the night. The next morning we had arranged with the Riad to find us a guide for a few hours in the morning as we learned quickly how fast we would of been lost otherwise. Our guide was very knowledgable about the medina and the history of Fez as he had grown up there. He also took us to some of the typical tourist traps of leather shops, pashmina, etc which was fine and one of the neat things to see/do in Fes but we were a bit over it by the end and much would of seen old fes and heard more history etc.
