“Gorgeous Riad!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

We loved our stay at Riad Laaroussa. Although our room was one of the smaller ones, it was cozy and actually provided plenty of room for us and our luggage. The public space is great with many fireplaces. The food was excellent and the staff is exceptional. Always willing to do anything they could to help make our stay better. They arranged a couple of terrific guides as well. The riad itself is just gorgeous from the courtyard to the terrace.

Room Tip: There are narrow, steep stairs to get to the upper levels, so be aware if you have any mobility issu...

“Fantastic Riad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

Smiling, helpful Laarbi met us at the main road and carried our luggage to the riad. We were greeted by the warm wonderful staff. It was a cold night and the fire in the fire place in our room was most welcome. We had ordered a vegan meal for dinner the first night and it was delicious. We stayed in the Green Room for two nights in the Cream Suite for one night. Both rooms were beautiful and very, very comfortable. The staff is fantastic - FZ, Fati Flower, Fatima Twila, Sabah, Badiae and everyone else were not only helpful but pleasant, happy and charming. Breakfast was delicious as were the dinners. We ate there every night. I recommend the hammam and spa at the riad. It was very professional and so relaxing. The location of the riad could not be better. If you are in Fez this is the place to stay.

“The best service I have ever encountered”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

and probably the best hotel. The riad is beautiful beyound any description, with its mix of traditional architecture and modern art. We stayed for three nights, with two kids, in the orange suite - marvellous room, the children enjoyed their beds in the mezzonine immensly, and the fireplace was lit every evening, and - well, I do not want to spoil it for new guests.
The team is absolutely amazing - you feel a dear guest every single second, and even a friend - they recommended the best guide, helped with everything, were more then tolerant with the noisy and destructive kids, perfect in each and every way. The rooftop terrace has an incredible view - and I could go on and on.
Oh, a spoiler - there are two retrievers that love to be patted and a cat that insists on being let in the room.
We loved every second and plan to return to take cooking classes and enjoi the spa.

“Fantastic stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

What a beautiful place!! There were 9 of us, 2 families staying for 3 nights at the end of a wonderful trip through Morocco, and the Riad could not have been more perfect. The rooms were spectacular! We got there after dark and the fireplaces in the rooms were lit and the staff was incredibly helpful. The rooftop deck is such a wonderful place to have breakfast or a drink after a long day. It was a great end to a great trip!

“All in the family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

We spent three heavenly nights in the Riad Laaroussa in December. From the moment we stepped into its lovely courtyard, we were pampered and treated as family by its wonderful owner and staff. Even the animals were especially welcoming. Mimi, the cat, came to our room to visit my granddaughter many times. The cuisine at the riad was superb. Our mouths are still watering at the thought of the caramelized lamb tagine and delectable pumpkin soup we had on Christmas eve. Our stay was really a special experience and we hope to return some day soon.
