This Riad was obviously lovingly put together by its owners. The decor is ornate, in a luxurious-Morrocan style. The owners are gracious, attentive and very proud of their Riad. Problem is that the Riad needs serious refurbishment. The cushions and slipcovers on sofas, chairs and lounge chairs by the pool are soiled and the air-conditioning equipment in my room was so old and loud that it kept me from a good night's sleep throughout my stay. Window treatments are old, frayed and need replacement. This detracts from the beauty of the Riad. The cuisine is excellent, i.e. breakfasts were copious and well presented and the fixed price dinners serving typical Moroccan dishes were outstanding. While located in the Medina, the Riad is at the north end thereby requiring taxis to get to major attractions points.
