Loved this place, easy location to find (although recommend being met by Ahmed first time), beautiful house with a terrace to have tea in the breakfast or tea in the evening. Comfortable beds and lovely lounge area to have one of their delicious homemade dinners. Ahmed is so helpful and on hand for anything that's needed. I would recommend this house to anyone travelling to Fes.

Three of us stayed at Riad Meski for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. After arriving late by train, Ahmed was very welcoming and got us tea while his mother made dinner. The food was very good - I highly recommend eating at the Riad. We stayed on the ground floor and didn't have much issue with noise. The Riad is hard to find and we ended up putting our lives in a local's hands who ended up being just fine, but be wary of the men who try to help you get where you need to go in general. It is much better to call the Riad and have them send someone, especially late at night. The Riad is very well located and just a short walk to the center part of the medina. If I ever go back to Fes I'll be sure to stay there again!

My girlfriend and I spend christmas in the Meski's family riad. Ahmed and his family made us a warm welcoming making us feel not in a guesthouse but in a family house. they were very attentious to us, and that is what we appreciated the most.

Also, the breakfast was plentyful and delicious. I still remember the taste of those sugary creps with ham.

Next time in Fes, we hope to stay again at this Riad.

Greetings

Javier/Natalia

Riad Meski is run by a local Fassi family, and they do everything to make their place an authentic homestay. This is not a guesthouse-riad with no athmosphere, this is, first and foremost, a home. You get to eat the truly Fassi couscous, and Ahmad, the manager even agreed to treat me to khlie (a Fassi specialty) in the morning when he learned I like it! So, if you want to experience a Moroccan hospitality and learn about how the normal, regular Fassi family lives, this is the place to be.
The servis given by the Meski family is outstanding, be it the manager - Ahmad, his brother Yusuf or their lovely Mum which prepares the meals. They are friendly, knowledgeable and at the same time not pushy. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very good, everything being very clean. The area when Meski live is a quiet one which ensures good sleep, while being about 2 minutes away from the main artery of the Medina - Talaa Kabira.

Family Meski welcomes you wit houner in their guesthouse. Manager Ahmed and his brother Youssef indulge you with their honest hospitality while their mother prepares a daily changeing breakfast. The traditional dinners are also really good! (it may take a while before it is ready, since alle ingredients are purchased after you orderd your meal)

Go out and explore the medina with the family friend Tommy, who is an elderly man from Fes, respeced and wellknow by almost everybody living and working in the old town!

We were in de riad for five nights. It’s located a three minutes walk outside the real crowds. Fine location. Authentic Moroccan riad, comfortable and spacious rooms. Very nice, cheerful, hospitable and welcoming family. Laid back atmosphere. Ahmed (and brother Youssef also) will do all his best to let you feel at home and, without being intrusive, to help you find you’re way in and aroud Fez. Speaks good English.
Their mom cooks delicious (and cheaper than in other riads). We booked through a booking portal and got immediatly an email from him with access to the riad from airport, train or bus station. He can arrange transport for you, you can also do it yourself, to the nearest port: Bab Guissa. There he or Youssef picks you op and leads you through the labyrinth of the Medina to the riad.
So why so little reviews? Because they only just logged on to the booking sites.
