“A beautiful riad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

A very hospitable riad just next door to the medina. Decoration and hospitality were incredible, as good as Sakina's food and warmth. Don't forget to experience the hamman, a unique "punishment", especially the scrubbing. The room was beautiful and spacious.

Our room was above the central courtyard.... very traditionally decorated and homely. Zakina is a wonderful hostess and chef.... we didn't want to move out of the riad for meals anywhere else. The staff are so attentive and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.
This riad was one of the best we stayed in in Morocco.

Room Tip: For a traditional experience try for a room that faces onto the central courtyard.

Upon first glance, we were taken by taxi to a narrow walkway in the Medina. The door in front of us was not terribly distinguishable from the others. But once we stepped inside, the beauty and detail of this place erased any doubt. Our room was lovely, and the staff was gracious, kind and always helpful. Sakina Belcadi is the proprietor who has run this welcoming home for 12 years. She really understands the meaning of service.

Do not miss her dinners! Amazing and comparable with chefs from 5 star riads in the Medina. Experience a haram after a long days' tour. And she really knows great guides.

Do not miss the opportunity to stay here.

Room Tip: No pool or fitness center - you are a guest in a traditional Moroccan home.

Our stay in this Riad has definitely made our trip to Fez that much more enjoyable. The personnel will do all they can to ensure you have a positive experience!!!! The food, should you wish to have supper at the Riad, and I would encourage anyone to do so, is sublime!!!! We will definitely come back to this wonderful Riad!!!! The room was spacious, very clean and the bathroom very modern with all amenities!!!!

Room Tip: All rooms are beautifully decorated and the Riad is very quiet, allowing for a peaceful night!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Riad. The staff were always very attentive and polite and the cuisine was without a doubt the best we had in Fes. We would thoroughly recommend the Riad Zamane to anyone wishing to visit Fes. Many thanks to Madame Belcadi and her staff for making us feel 'at home'.

We just returned from our 4 day trip to Fes. We stayed in Riad Zamani the entire time. It is clean, very tastefully decorated, quiet and super friendly place in a good location. Breakfast was very good and dinner in the riad was superb. We tried a number of places in the medina and near the Riad and they were average. We highly recommend to stay in the Riad for dinner, you will be impressed with the quantity and quality of food served in the Riad. Overall, very pleasant stay and a lot of useful tips from the owner.
