Riad Fes

Considering this is one of the best Riads in Fes the staff did not make an effort to welcome one or give advice on what Fes had to offer. So not a very friendly place.

A beautiful space with roof terraces over looking the Fes & the Medina however no comfortable chairs to sit on when lounging in the sun and no shaded spots when wanting to be protected from it.

The food provided by the restaurant is not worth eating more than once, with a standard set menu that did not offer any fresh salads despite the wonderful array of fresh vegetables on sale in the markets. I had to fight to get a green salad.

Beware when making payment with a credit card. The bill & credit card payment slips are in Morccan Dirhams however the final price that is debited from the Credit Card company, in my case Master Card was shown as US Dollars, which at the time was not mentioned and I have no idea at what rate of exchange. Considering my card was in Euros why wasn't I debited in that currency and told this would happen.

You will love this Riad!
It is chic, luxurious and traditionally Moroccan.
There are many areas for you to lounge around at the Riad.
The Moroccan food at the Riad is absolutely the best we ate in Morocco! My mouth still waters when I think of the Pigeon Pastille. The breakfast selection was also delicious.
The people at the front desk spoke good English and were extremely helpful and competent. My luggage was lost and they diligently followed up for me. In addition, the Riad is well located in the Medina.

I definitely recommend this amazing Riad. Enjoy your stay!

Our stay at the Riad Fes has been exquisit.
We found it on Forbes Magazine as one of the 10 Sexiest Hotels in Morocco. It was an amazing experience. The staff are so nice there and so helpful.
I really advise the contempory part of the Riad. It's a unique atmosphere in Fes. The food is the best we had around Morocco. Do not miss any breakfast and dinner.
I highly recommend this top riad!

“True Luxury”

Riad Fes

The highlight of our stay in Fes was this riad! It was absolutely gorgeous. The photos do not do it justice. It was great to come back to a luxurious and tranquil riad after spending our day getting lost in the hectic medina. It is tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and the staff are extremely helpful and polite. The attention to detail is obvious. It is perfectly located in the medina and the food is to die for! A true gastronimc experince...Moroccan food at it's absolute best. Be sure to get up for the breakfast too! We would come back to Fes simply to stay at this riad. It may be at the top and of your budget but it is truly worth every penny. This riad would be hard to beat.

After long airplane and taxi rides, my husband and I were led through a maze of paths. It was raining and we were not happy, but when the doors of Riad Fes were opened by smiling staff, our frowns quickly turned to smiles. While checking in, we enjoyed a glass of steaming mint tea while my eyes roamed around the magnificent room adorned with mosaics and delicately carved walls and ceilings.
We spent five lovely nights at the Riad and it was not long enough. Yes, the architecture and decoration are magnificent, seeming to be straight out of a movie set, but it was truly the staff who made our stay special. No sooner did we walk towards a door when it was magically opened by a smiling red-clad young staff person. The general manager, an intelligent and gracious young woman named Caesarina and her assistant Awa went out of their way to be sure that our stay was perfect.
The food was so delicious that we ate in the Riad restaurant every night! In addition to wonderful dinners, the breakfasts were unbelievable. Eggs made to order, sweets galore, fresh fruits and yogurt were only a fraction of the offerings.
We recommend this fantastical, fabulous riad to anyone who enjoys deluxe accommodations made even more outstanding by a warm personable staff.
