It's located on the outskirts of Fes, it takes 15 min. by taxi to get to the city centre. But one shouldn't even hope for a quiet and relaxing stay, they let the public into one of there pools, so it's awfully noisy with very loud music playing all day long. It's even worse at night there's a disco somewhere around which closes around 5-6 a.m.
If your windows face the main road, sorry for you.
Although the hotel is officially 5 star there are no safe deposit boxes in rooms. Theoretically you can have one at the reception area, but they never have available keys, so we never got a chance of using the safe.
Speaking about the private pool they have for the guests only, it's in shade all the time, as a result the water is very cold and they do not heat it. The towels appear from time to time, and there's no one in charge of them. When the heavy wooden umbrella was blown away by the wind and turned some chairs down no one even cared to check if everything was OK, and the umbrella stayed on the ground blocking the way to the WC till the end of the day.
At the restaurant they seem not to have a wine list and you never know what you get as they almost don't speak english and can't explain anything.
So in comparison with other so called 5 star hotels in Morocco it's probably the least 5 star))) of them all.
