Maison Fez Aya is a fantastic middle-priced boutique hotel. It has been recently restored and just looks beautiful with fresh paint, ornate tile work and new furniture. Concealed in a domestic street of the medina this hotel has a delightful family home charm to it. You feel much more like a welcomed guest in someone’s home than just another client in a hotel. The family who staff hotel are exceptional, they were incredibly helpful and incredibly generous with their time and resources. We would often arrive home to find wonderful food awaiting us at no cost (not that I would want to set an up expectation for such generosity to continue). The manager of Fez Maison Aya was fantastic, giving great advice and assistance and arranging great guides and tours as we requested.
Hotel Fez Aya was the highlight of our time in Fes. If you want an authentic Moroccan experience in a beautiful home with incredibly hospitable people and at a reasonable price then look no further.
