Where to start?? The riad, a beautiful example of Moroccan culture and style is situated just inside the medina so you won't get lost finding it if you are driving in. Juliette, our Aussie hostess, made us feel at home straight away by upgrading us not once but twice - very special. Her staff, Said and Zenab, made sure all our needs were met, they even helped us with the parking and because my husband had an upset stomach, NOT from Fes, Juliette sent Zenab to the local pharmacie for medication. Zenab makes a mean targine which you must try. The extra touches are what make this riad such a gem eg marmite, Early Grey tea, "bacon" and eggs. Air con, wifi, satellite TV, a terrace, great water pressure for showers, a bath in our suite... so much better than a hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and loved it.
