“AMAZING! The best part of my trip.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

In August, my friend and I stayed at Dar El Yasmine for a couple nights. I had read good things about them online, but I was blown away by their helpfulness and hospitality! They fed us an enormous Moroccan-style breakfast every morning, had a wonderful dinner ready each night during Ramadan to break the fast, and offered us tea and juice whenever we returned to the hostel. Being two young women on a very unprepared trip to Morocco, Aziz and the crew helped us out immensely. They went out with us at night so we were able to experience Fez nightlife, were incredibly generous and friendly, and allowed for greater insight into Moroccan views and Fez culture. They organized tours of the city, taxis to get to the bus station and airport, and they walked us places we didn't know how to get to. While hanging out at the hostel we also met numerous fellow young people traveling in small groups who we also great beacons of travel recommendations. I absolutely love a hostel where you can meet fanatic, social people. I am sure I am forgetting more wonderful points about this hostel, but the point is that my stay at Dar El Yasmine was the highlight of my trip to Morocco. Absolutely fantastic!

Dear all, I've been at this B&B this summer and I had a great time. It is quite easy to arrive there if you come from Bab Bou Jeloud, the door of the city. Once you are inside the Riad, you will immediatly feel the tipical moroccan atmosphere. The decor is fantastic! The staff is very nice, they will help you whenever you will need them. The rooms are enough clean and comfortable, but a bit noisy. Moreover, in the mornig, there is a huge breakfast waiting for you!the best way to start the day! If you are young and you are looking for something that is not to much pretentius but really tipical ( you don't have to expect you to find a five stars hotel) this is the right place for you!

This place is set inside the Medina but on a quiet little street. Its a little hard to find but it is worth looking for. I would recommend it and would go back myself.
Mohamad and Aziz, all I can say is thank you for everything. The food was great the ambience was great and the conversation was great. We didn't want to leave and we want to come back soon!

We spent 2 night in this riad and is the riad with the best staff that we met! Mohammed and Aziz are so kindly and generous that you feel like in a big family. The riad is well located in the old medina of Fez, near all attractions but in a very quiet street, far from noise. If you go to Fez pick Dar Er Yasmine..you will feel like at your home, Mohammed and Aziz will provide to arrange you in everythings! Thanks capo!!

If you go to Fez, no doubt.. just pick this one!
We stayed one week in this dar and we felt like family. Use the map on the website to find the dar. Then it's easy! The dar is in a quiet street, but near by the main street and in the middle of the medina. Or clean room was ready when we arrived in the morning and they give us a nice drink. Mohammed and Aziz are open to every questions and they can arrange a lot, like a guide and the hamam. Even in the night they are ready for you. There is also a nice terrace to chill out at day and night. And the girls are cleaning every day and cook really good! The best place to stay! Thanks guys for the nicest week ever!

My partner and I spent 2 nights in Fes just last month. After looking up reviews we decided on Dar el Yasmine. What a great choice! We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by friendly people and a nice cool drink. After allowing us some time to recover from the heat we were set up in our room. We had a bottom floor room with icy cold air-con. Even though our room led out to the main meeting area there was never a problem with noise.
Everyone was so helpful with information and recommendations. Their hospitality was amazing, even though I'm sure they were suffering with the demands of Ramadan! I can't recommend this place highly enough.
As a bit of advice, even though we had a map of the medina Dar el Yasmine can be quite difficult to find, with street signs often covered over. We ended up letting one of the local lead us there. If you email or call ahead you can arrange to have someone meet you at the main gate and lead you through.
Thank you once again guys!!!
