We were guided through the medina who by a guide who ended the tour at restaurant dar hatim which he called a clean, family restaurant. That was true but so is a whole lot more. This was the best meal we've had in Morocco by far! The salads were delicious and varied. I had the pastilla which was delicious and my partner had the couscous which he said was the best he had eaten. The fruit was refreshing.
The setting is beautiful with lovely carved and painted cedar ceilings, tiling and beautiful hangings on the walls.
I would never have found this place by myself and if I had I probably would have passed it by and I would have missed out. The guide said that they will arrange to pick you up and take you back to your hotel. We had the server point us in the direction we wanted to go and we found our way .
