“Close to Airport and with Shuttle Bus”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

Near to Casablanca Airport and with Shuttle Bus every half hour. The bus is outside T2 and the hotel name is shown on a blue sign.

The hotel is good for one night stopovers but not really suitable for longer stays. There is nothing to do or see near the hotel which is surrounded by partly constructed two storey houses that have been unfinished for several years. The rooms are small but modern and clean and they have a walk in shower. The bed and pillows were good and I had a good night’s sleep. The TV had CNN but no BBC although it was advertised. Reception said there was free WIFI in the room but I could not access it. My first room had a kettle and coffee but no fridge and the aircon was not working so I phoned reception and was politely asked to wait for 10 minutes. Nothing happened so half an hour later I called again and this time asked for a change of room. I was told someone would come to my room. Nothing happened for another half hour so I packed up and went down to reception and got a different room. The aircon worked well in that room and there was a fridge but it did not work and there was no kettle or coffee in that room. I suppose I could have asked for one but by that time I just wanted to sleep. I never got WIFI to work in the room and next morning went for breakfast which was a little sparse but tasted ok. I tried to use the WIFI at the lobby but it was not working and when I asked the reception staff they said the internet was not working. The swimming pool was good. When I checked in there was a man shouting and very angry with one of the reception staff. I was impressed with the calm way the reception staff handled that badly behaved and annoying customer. I do not know the reason why he was so annoyed. Perhaps it was the very polite but very casual and laid back manner of the staff.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the pool and perhaps on a lower floor to have a small chance that the...

I have spent A night there as there were no other hotel nearby the airport, it took me longer to check in with lots of manual paper work, the staff were very rude, no customer service!! The room was in very bad status with smelly bathrooms, dirty floors, it looks they dont pay well to their housekeeping staff, the breakfast was terrible as well. Internet is not working only at lobby.
Nothing was good in this hotel.
Its extremely terrible, better pay for taxi and stay at another hotel its only 30 mins.

Very very bad. Poor breakfast, lunch and dinner. Free internet access not working all the time. Dirty bedrooms (dust, dirty bathroom floor), cockroachs and problems with water flow in shower. I don't recomend this to anyone.

The most helpful staff are the security guards!

Two of us had booked into the hotel, yet there was only one towel provided for our overnight stay. Despite going to the desk and asking for another towel, at 10 pm it still hadn't arrived (5 hours later). It literally took me standing in front of the desk, speaking in a loud voice for everyone to hear, that we wanted to go to bed and wanted to shower but HAD NO TOWELS and that I refused to leave the desk without one.

The food in the morning was absolutely pathetic. Cabbage lining the plate that had turned brown and appeared to have been used a few days over, with no bread yet cake. Everything looked so terrible that most guest walked in, looked, and left. Had I not been in such need for coffee I would have done the same thing.

Room Tip: Stayed there twice and would not hesitate to say there are no good rooms. All in run down condition...

This hotel is the only hotel close to the airport. You should only stay here if you really have to.
The service and standards of this hotel are really are poor. It doesn't even reach 3 stars.
The staff have no idea how to speak to their guests. They are rude and show no respect. Upon arrival I requested to see a room due to the bad comments on tripadvisor and was told "No". After some negotiating with the male person at the front desk and his superior who claimed he could not speak english I managed to have a look at a room. Another incident, the wi-fi was not connecting, when I approached the front desk and spoke with a female employee and told her about the issue, she replied, "I don't work in wi-fi"
The rooms are vey basic, with no mini bar or safety box and poor workmanship. You can also hear people walking up and down the hall and any door that opens.
It appears they are extending the hotel and the workman were very nice to start banging away before 8am.
The breakfast supplied falls very short of acceptable. The scrambled eggs ran out before 9am and we were informed there would be no more. Most items were nearly empty with very little options and poor quality.
Once again, only stay here if you have to!

Atlas airport hotel does exactly what it says on the tin. Full of people there for one night only, just as well because you most definitely would not want to spend more than one night here. I would say this hotel falls very short of anywhere near acceptable by european standards. They were carrying out construction work while we stayed there and had angle grinders going by 8am on scaffolding outside our window and the staff attempted to put us (two guys on a kitesurfing trip) in a room with a double bed only. We literally had to argue to get put in a room with two single beds and yet they seemed to have them in abundance... Strange. If you have any choice (which you most likely won't) find somewhere else to stay, otherwise, set the bar very low and you may find it acceptable.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms to the ends of any corridors as they seemed to be doing construction.

Horrible. Air con broken, power points not working, tv not working, bathroom smelt like sewage, one bath towel for two people, staff that are rude and disinterested, average food at restaurant. Should I keep going...?
