“Delicious breakfast and lovely pool!”

We would happily recommend this hotel, situated on the Corniche with a lovely pool. Our room was a bit tired, but clean and the bed comfortable, and we loved the view of the beach. The staff were courteous and efficient, though not as friendly as many Moroccans we met. The breakfast buffet was excellent! We went as a couple but this would be a great hotel for families.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the pool would be quieter. Some have beach views.

We just held a conference at the hotel and overall it was a terrific experience. The location is great the hotel is right on a boardwalk where people walk or run in the morning. The staff is generally very helpful. We had many technical requirements and once we found the technical guru we were in good hands - but he was busy so we had to be persistent. The food was excellent - lots of options. I did have to change rooms because I was on the first floor and found that the lock to an outside door was not secure but the staff were helpful and I was soon in another room. I would certainly recommend this as a conference venue.

Room Tip: Second or third floor are the best bet

We stayed at the Lido as part of a conference. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff very friendly, the food excellent and the services impeccable. Would love to come back here sometime on a holiday with family. Highly recommended for both business conferences as well as for holidays. The manager Mohd Hanani was most efficient, friendly and helpful.

Have just had 2 nights here and can't understand why the bad reviews.
We had a nice room which was clean with lovely crisp clean white sheets. We did however have the slight issue with a leak in the bathroom which was fixed immediately after I reported it.
The breakfast was plentiful with a lovely selection of food from individually made omeletes to your preference, fresh fruit, pastries and much much more.
The pool area is nicely appointed with a great selection of lounging equipment including hammocks and covered bed. Lovely clean pool and friendly and accommodating staff.
The location, right on the beachfront, is a bit out of town and the Medina but is perfect to relax away from the bustle of the city and is only about 25 dirhams by petit taxi.
All in all I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for a week with my husband. The location and the hotel amenities are great. However, some of the staff people are very rude . let me expand on that:
- The waiters:
* if you sit by the pool and order a coffee or orange juice, you will have to wait for 30 min,sometimes the waiters will take our order and we will never see him again (there are many of them, but they are all chatting by the bar).
* You have to waive at the waiters for 10 minutes before you get their attention
* we will presented by a non sharpened pencil several times to sign the check to the room (the waiter offered the excuse that " customers steal his pens, so he keeps a pencil!!" .
- The maid service:
* The toilet seat in our room had a pee stain since the first day we got there. This lasted 3 days before I decided to talk to one of the maids. She said that the pee stain is part of the toilet design!!!!
- Room Service:
There is no menu in the rooms. When I asked for one, I was told that they don't have one ready and that they are working on it! oh and if you ask for ice, it will cost you 11 dollars!
- Pool Attendant:
*Rude and disrespectful. He refuses to hand out extra towels (which are old and over used).
*My friends and their kids stopped by the hotel and wanted to swim, the attendant refused to hand out new towels. he talked to the hotel reception which charged us 400 drhs (50 bucks) because my friend's kids were swimming in the pool.
- Restaurant:
The food is just Terrible!!
- Room, The bed was comfortable and clean overall (except for the pee stain). The air conditioner broke down twice, they brought in a guy who tried to solve the problem by pouring bottles of water on the motor (he explained that the motor overheated) needless to say that his method did not work!


This hotel has a great potential, but clearly management is just terrible. This is by far the worse customer service I have ever had in my life. I will never go back there! My husband and I decided to cut our stay there short and check in to another hotel..

We stayed one night. Arrived late, had a nice and tasty dinner, but the room was really below avarage. Stains on the carpet, bad smell from the bath room, air condition did not work. Definitely not 4 stars. Maybe 2.5 stars. Felt like a youth hostel. The courtyard and the lobby make a very good impression, but the room was just disgusting. We stayed only one night. One night too much.

I've staid at this hotel 3 or 4 times back in 2012 during a few business trips performed in Morocco, at the time if I recall correctly the hotel had a different name, still the place wasn't exactly memorable, besides being winter and having basically froze myself every single night, the hotel is in urgent need for robust renovation, service is definitely questinonable (e.g. We did pay thru pre booking but risked to get charged again.... ) annex moroccan restaurant was goog though, and the snail soup sold by the kiosks along the promenade is also interesting. Neverthless the hotel is not exaclry what I'd reccomend, business or vacation that is.
