I stayed at this hotel for a night before heading out to Rabat. I was not disappointed.

True, it is not in the newer and flashier part of town, but that is part of what makes it interesting. The hotel is close to the heart of the city and to the average person. Sure, you will have noise and you will have dirty streets, but this is the main CITY of a second-world country...hardly surprising!! Casablanca is not a highlight of a trip to Morocco...but while there, it's good to take a moment to experience it a little, because it IS an integral part of the country.

The hotel itself was perfectly fine, especially for its relatively low price. The rooms were very clean; not fancy, but better than I even expected. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were impeccable.

The people at the front desk were also nice; not sure why others would think otherwise. I found them to be very kind and respectful, as is often the case in Morocco.

If you have at least a few hours in Casa, be sure to go and visit the main mosque right next to the sea. It's magnificent in its grandeur and in a lovely location. One of my most beautiful memories in Morocco is of chilling out on the sea walls next to mosque, just chatting with and watching the young kids diving repeatedly into the sea! :)

Overall, I found this hotel was comfortable and with its own special charm. I recommend it as a good intro to Morocco upon arrival...you will coast the rest of the time! On the way back, I booked with the IBIS in the newer part, for practical reasons. I was pleased with both places.

We arrived in Casablanca on a Saturday night and took a taxi from the airport to this hotel, which I booked in large part due to decent reviews on-line. Had I know what we were heading into on a Saturday night, I'd have booked on the outskirts of the city instead. It took us about an hour to drive through the pedestrian and car-filled streets, once we hit the center of the city. I think it was mainly due to the foreseen congestion by the taxi driver that he charged us much more than we'd expected to be charged (based on previous research). We were only planning to stay one night as it was the disembarcation point for a two-week custom tour of Morocco. Wish we'd booked somewhere else. The room was cramped, the view was of the dirty streets, and it wasn't particularly clean. On the positive side, the staff was courteous and attentive, and the breakfast served in the morning was quite pleasant. All in all, a decent place, but one that I'd not book again for the reasons above.

VERY average hotel in an area away from the centre of town . On arrival reception staff were curt and not helpful at all. Seemed very disinterested in us,and answered no to even basic requests. The room had a small balcony , beds and nothing else. Bathroom was ok.
Would not recommend to stay there

An average place to stay and has a typical hotel feel about it. Generally the staff were unenthusiastic. Beware of the rooms which face the back of the hotel as you will get a lot of noise from the night-club till the early hours of the morning. It was clean however and in a convenient location.
