“Unfriendly staff and bad room service but good location”

It was quite late when me and hubby arrived at this hotel but as usual ibis usually have many visitor and always busy. The receptionist Omar treated us as if we are not welcome to this hotel and didn't even answer out question. Maybe because of language barrier but HELLO he ignored my hubby when he asked him for map of Casablanca. The location is quite strategic near to Casa Port train station where u can take train to Rabat conveniently, is just a walk across the hotel. About 5Dirhams by the red petite taxi to Hassan II Mosque. The taxi outside the hotel are quite ridiculous, they want to charge 50Dirhams to go to the mosque which is just like 8minutes distance. Please look at the red petite taxi if u r on budget. Anyway Ibis price isn't that cheap and not worth for my short stay.

This Ibis is adequate but tired. Rooms are basic and functional. Most things work! Stayed two nights and returned a week late for another stay. The first room had a paint smell in the bathroom so bad, so noxious that I almost passed out. The room was replaced without too much trouble.
This hotel plays host to many tourists part of an organised tour, yet the breakfast range of food available is dismal. I think they should cater equally to both Arab and Western tastes. Improve the quality of food on offer,-in a country known for the quality of it's citrus fruits, serving orange cordial instead of juice is penny pinching and bad publicity.
The catering in the hotel needs a good shake up!!

This is a hotel next to a busy harbour area. Lots of development across the main road from the hotel and 24 hour construction going on. Hotel is clean and bright enough but the breakfast is totally pathetic, worst offerings we had while touring Morocco. Ricks Bar, from the Humphrey Bogart film, Casablanca, is a 20 minute walk away. Although the bar never existed, this venue gets very busy every day. That said it is worth getting there early to get the best seat at a table upstairs where a video of the film runs continually. Lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices.

We have stayed at Ibis Casablanca City Center for one night in February 2013. The hotel is very well located, especially for those coming by train into Gare Casa Port. Rabat-Casablanca trains go to this station in Casablanca.

The hotel is part of a group of three at the same location (Ibis, Novotel and Sofitel). It keeps Ibis standards, with small rooms, good for one night. Rooms are clean, shower is very good, but towels need a renewal. Wifi works well and breakfast is very good and complete. The room has no coffee/tea making facilities and the TV is a small flat LCD screen.

The restaurant at night seems also good, so does the bar, where you can have a drink and a snack (quiche lorraine or sandwich and dessert for a good price) if you are not interested in big meals.

Ibis Casablanca City Center is a good option if you are just in Casablanca for the main tourist attractions that can take one day, and it is good value for money.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms with a nice view as the ones looking backwards have not a good one.

Very basic accommodation, recently renovated but could have been cleaner. It appears the new paint was just put over the old dirt. Staff were not helpful at all, overpriced compared to other accommodation in Morrocco. If all you need is a bed for the night this is ok, but don’t expect much. The room has a bed, TV and basic bathroom.

The hotel breakfast is chaotic with a very limited selection. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful and wouldn’t even make an effort to try and put our two rooms on the same floor.

Stayed for 2 nights and had the worst experience. We tried to eat dinner at the Wok restaurant inside the hotel around 10:30PM but staff refused to seat us because they claimed that it was closed. Meanwhile the printed promo cards inside the room noted that the restaurant closed at 11PM. No big deal, so we sat at the bar where we had to choose between 2 different meals....90% of the menu was unavailable. Besides a very limited and overpriced menu, unhelpful staff and a broken A/C unit in our room, the beds were comfortable allowing a decent night's sleep. HOWEVER, I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL!

There is Power of anger takes reception, restaurant. There is a problem in the reception staff.
Search only for Osman.
Room known as the Ibis chain.
Good location and price is high (900).
