1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago via mobile

I came here with my son and mother in November 2014. found it was a lovely hotel from outside.. I got treated better outside than with this hotel.
Staff were rude obnoxious human beings, was disgusting with the service throughout the week we spent in Morocco. It was near the beach which was beautiful, on here everyone is giving it good reviews I find that it was the worst holiday in Mt life dirty, rude staff and disgusting food. Nearly missed my taxi to leave die to concierge talking the other colleagues and I asked tjem where my luggage was they just gave me a dirty looks. No place for genuine English people. Would never recommend this to anyone mot even a stray dog. Don't waste your money!!!!

Stayed here Christmas 2013. The hotel is clean, spacious and a lovely place to stay. Staff are friendly and efficient and helpful. Our room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The food was always well presented and as a very fussy eater I never went hungry!! There were always sunbeds available and the beach is on the doorstep!!
The hotel is walking distance to numerous restaurants, cafes and bars.
We went on the safari excursion....well worth a try.
All in all a fabulous holiday...no complaints.

Where do I start...
Just spent 7 nights all inclusive here and we loved it..
It was our first time in Morocco, transfer from the airport is 30 mins so not too far.
First impressions of the hotel is beautiful, as you walk through the doors we were greeted very nice, we checked in and our bags were carried to the room, we did tip him in English money £2 as we hadn't changed any cash at this stage .
The hotel room had the "wow" factor, it was more like a suite than a basic hotel room, we had a huge double bed, lovely bathroom, large dresser and reasonable balcony as we had side sea view facing,

You can exchange your cash at the reception, 13 Moroccan money was £1 in English .
The maids made our bed everyday and the towels were changed daily.
The pool bar opens at 10-6 they play music all day which does repeat itself.... The all inclusive alcohol isn't watered down unlike some I've had at other places. Bottled lager tastes ok too..
No need take a beach towel to the pool as they provide towels everyday.
There is a heated pool outside which was lovely in December.
There is one bar which opens at 6pm which is your all inclusive bar, cocktails etc are payable, so you only get spirits and lager free.. No cider anywhere to be seen. Entertainment was very poor, maybe because we were outbid season, one bloke singing everynight, he was good but again repeated the same songs each night.
There is a nightclub in the hotel which opens at midnight but we never went.
There is an English Bar within a 5 min walk, it's not run by English people but had karaoke in everynight and drinks were pricy, £4 for a pint... Cocktails £7. But worth a visit.
The beach is basically right outside the hotel, you walk down some steps where there is a security guard 24/7 and you are right on the beach and the beach is lovely..
McDonalds and Pizza Hut 5 minute stroll up the promenade, and lots of bars, same again bit pricy we thought, compared with the Canary Islands. You do get pestered whilst you are out walking, people approach you asking you to buy things like sunglasses, dresses, watches, jewellery, a "no thank you" is all you need and they walk off..
Browsing the shops was impossible, they are trying to sell you everything and won't let you browse in peace.
If you are a smoker get your fags before you get there, I couldn't find English fags anywhere, so I was buying some foreign fags and they were horrible, £3 for 20 is good but not so good...
There are excursions you can go on but we didn't.

The Spa, the indoor pool is free between 10-4 but not the jacuzzi, that's £10 each for half hour, which we thought should have been included, but it's lovely inside

Now the Food:
Breakfast was nice to be honest, there is so much to chose from, they make omelettes as you wait, pancakes, too much to list here, there is something for everyone and we looked forward to breakfast more than any other meal.
Dinner was self service, lots served in tagines, the food was very bland, no spice to anything, the salad bar is huge, what put us off the salad and desserts one day is we sat down and noticed "birds" eating the cakes, the waiters didn't batter
an eyelid, you do get the odd bird flying around the restaurant but to us that's unhygienic but to them it seemed normal. Evening meal pretty much the same, I'm quiet fussy but I did manage to pick at stuff and now and then I fount something I really liked so we never starved but we did go McDonald's three times for dinner.
They serve your drinks at your table, bottles of wine, lager or sangria, the Rose wine was quiet nice.
I do think that they could be a bit more hygienic, one night they had a carved turkey and he was carving it with a pen knife it crumbled everywhere and he put it on our plate with his hands, he had gloves on but they were split and his fingers were sticking out...
Overall the food could do with improving for a 5 star hotel,

There are 2 other restaurants in the hotel, you do have to book a table which is part of your all inclusive and the food was lovely.
My overall review of this hotel is that it's stunning, it's huge.... It took us a couple of days to find our way around. The location is fab, the hotel staff were all very friendly,
Would I recommend this hotel? Yes I would....

Having read some recent reports we were a little apprehensive but was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean, well lit and offers an excellent range of food to suit all tastes. I have a food allergy and cannot eat spicy food so emailed before we left home and the catering manager asked me to contact him when we arrived. There was no need; the hotel offers a wide range of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has an Italian and Moroccan restaurant on site which offer a free meal per week for all inclusive guests – well worth trying. The restaurant and buffet staff are helpful and welcoming without being too pushy.
The complaint that corridors are unlit is hard to fathom as all corridors had floor level uplighting. We had a minor problem in the bathroom which was dealt with straight away.
There is a lovely lounge below the main reception which gives a 5 star well worth paying the for drinks which are reasonably priced
All in all an excellent fortnights holiday.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool/gardens are quieter.

I don't know where to start, we went as a group of girls. We actually booked for the hotel next door but was moved to Royal Atlas due to some technical difficulty.

The staff were amazing very polite and helpful, spoke English to the best of their ability and spoke French. We loved it! The environment was great.
We ate so much, laughed so much with staff, tourist and locals. We felt very much at home. It even got to the point where the staff missed us when we dined out, wondering where we was.

There is nothing wrong we can say about the hotel, the spa is great! Slightly more pricey than the locals but reasonable and convenient to just go downstairs.

We used the gym, which was good, i guess the only negative would be the lack of machines. There could have been a little bit more equipments however, due to the room size it made sense.

We had so much fun, all round. The security at night, at the gates facing the beach were very helpful when we got into an incidents which was resolved very quickly.

We went to Actors club, the music could have been a little bit more current but the singer was friendly we joined in the singing and he allowed two of us to sing and after a couple minutes we managed to get everyone up on their feet and we dance.

We would like to thank everyone of the staff, especially the tall man at the door and the restaurant staff and the pool/bar guys!!! We have been telling everyone about this and we will be back in a bigger group!!!

Lastly you make your own holiday fun or relaxing whichever it is. We had relaxing days and fun days, the hotel is amazing. Brownie points guys!!!!

Room Tip: We did not have the sea view room but we had the other hotels and it was still fun because the hotel...

The location is perfect, food was delicious and the rooms were very spacious. The swimming pool and the private beach are very convenient. The staff are very kind and warm. Service was the best we could have in Agadir. It was a business trip with extended stay, but the hotel made it feel like vacation every day after work!

Room Tip: Most rooms have a sea view, upper floors are more quiet.

good location..beach is nice but not safe for children or adults who are not strong swimmers as rollers were very powerful..peeps were surfing too so dodge the boards..now the hotel is not a 5* no matter what they say no iron to be had??? short on toilet rolls and cutlery ..we were all inclusive but ate out as we dont like fish with everything...most of the staff were very blank faced and not at all helpful except for a breakfast waiter small guy with glasses HE GOT A TIP :) the spa pool is nice ..the outside pools are nice areas but too cold in winter months for young children brrrr probably could do with heating at this time of year...

Room Tip: sea view as side view are very basic..take a torch as corridors they are very dark
