“Absolutely amazed how good this hotel is.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014

This was my first trip to Morocco, and on a tight budget, at under £250 all inclusive this was a fantastic bargain. I didn't know what to expect, after reading some dodgy reviews I was a little nervous. I was so relieved to find a fabulous resort, the hotel was very clean and the food was varied and very well cooked. The only downside for me was the very hard pillows, but saying that I never had back ache or neck ache and slept like a log all week.. For an inexpensive week I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Not suitable for anyone who struggles with steps.

Room Tip: Ask for one away from the entertainment if you want to sleep early.

went in january and had a great time! on the whole it was better than expected. Room clean and tidy, no problems there. Food was ok, lots of it, again no great problems.
We did however find a huge poblems with the seagulls around the pool, grabbing food and attacking tables!!!!!!!!
SOME STAFF are very demanding for tips, which can be a bit uncomfortable, especially in the themed restaurants, the management should address this issue ( same as staff in shops within village) gardens lovely!

We went in June 2013, weather was fabulous, that's the best I can say about the place. Staff rude. They need to be told that you tip to thank good service not tip to get any kind of service. If you are not tipping they are not intrested in offering any service. The outside bar men were the worst. The taps at the bar had a million wasps around them to which the bar men would waft in to your direction. They give you half a plastic cup of warm pop. After a 20 minute que. reception staff the same they would quite happy to ignore you. And are far from helpful.
Food was terrible. That's when you can get a table. Then fight over the buffet. The children lived off chips. The themed restaurants were worse. So don't bother.
We are a family that make the best of, and we did just that. We would never go back.
Best points
Cleaners were brilliant and friendly kept the old fashioned rooms spotless.
The gardners the same. They did a really good job of looking after the gardens etc...
The pool guy = fantastic ( we did tip at the end of the holiday )
Bad points
Horrible and confusing walk to the beach. ( once there the beach is lovely and well kept )
Reception/bar staff rude arrogant, un friendly,
Receptionist at the spa booking office, incredibly rude and ignorant, I normally have a number of treatments but she made it impossible to book appointments. Half way through booking on 1 occasion she decided to turn her back on me and make a phone call ! After 5 minutes I walked out.
Hard to find sun beds unless up at the crack of dawn.
If you go into or near any of the market stalls souks they will hound you, some can be handled but the jewellers on site was obnoxious, when told I didn't want a pair of earrings he slammed them on to the desk ! Swearing at me.

Room Tip: Try a better hotel

Good value. Staff friendly, helpful, polite. Food plentiful - not the most exciting but good quality.
The on the beach facilities are at your own risk. We had a lovely holiday! Thanks!

Lovely gardens, staff always cleaning and tidying.

Enjoyed the morrocan cooking session.

Turkish dancer loved herself and not interested in whether tourists enjoying themselves - only disappointment of my holiday.

Room Tip: People want different things - near pool, bar or away from same. Look at the facilities and ask for...

Our first trip to Agadir was in 1984. There weren't many hotels then, now its really changed a lot, the magnificent harbor they have built is really nice to wander around, then go on into the old fish market, you can eat a meal there really cheap and eat fish freshly caught, in fact some are still moving when you chose them. The hotel ! hmmm we have stayed in better, the whole hotel is built like in a hole so there are many stairs up and down when you walk around, the food was eatable, but nearly the same everyday, we shall never return here to this hotel. We went to eat in the main town 3 nights of our stay, but due to the all-in formula's in all the hotels it was very quite everywhere, the locals say its sad how the town of Agadir is slowly dying due to the large hotels they have built on the seafront and new promenade. If you like that sort of thing then this is the place to be in the winter, temperature between 21 and 28 degrees is just great. Personally, i think Agadir has had its best time, its been taken over by all the rich Moroccan people who have property there but are working or living in Europe, sad, especially for the local people. So, to finish up, Agadir is alright for a break in the winter, nice promenade and harbor. But as for hotel, you need to be going to minimum 5 star or i think you will be disappointed.
