“Good for us”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

We stayed 8 nights and had a good stay. Hotel is in a good position 5 mins from the sea front with restaurants but also walking distance to a number of other good restaurants. We took the recommendations of other reviewers and requested a high floor pool facing room on booking which ws got. Good size characterful room. I think it's important to remember that 4★ here isn't necessarily what 4★ in the UK is like but the price reflects that. If you take the 4 or 5★ option you are going to be one end of the beach and will miss out on some really very good restaurants and probably spend twice what we did. Room serviced and towels changed every day. Do not disturb sign was on the door handle and we weren't disturbed when we used it. Staff friendly. Pool area was clean, pool attendant on hand to provide towels and help move sunbeds etc. Seemed quiet when ws were there- never a problem getting a sunbed. Pool snack by uk costs ok (chicken sandwich with fries big enough to share about £4.75 but ofcourse that isn't cheap by general Moroccan standards). Didn't use the beach so can't comment there. Only negatives as far as we were concerned are tea and coffee making facilities have to be requested which we had to do twice and hardly any supplies were provided and the maid didn't top up. Again we had to ask twice for it to be replenished. In the end we didn't bother. The room had air cooling rather than conditioning which didn't cool quite as much as I'd have liked. Any hotter and I would have struggled. The smell from small zoo was strong when you walked past it but I don't know how it would be on the balconies that over look it. Probably safest to request pool facing. Would recommend and we definitely would return but not in full summer heat.

Good hotel, close to the beach and good location.
Stayed in the Junior Suite and room was really nice with nice bathroom.
Breakfast was really nice with a variety of different foods.
Would definitely recommend for families and would stay here again.

The location of this hotel is okay. We stayed for two nights. It takes 5 mins walk to the beach. Plenty of breakfast food are good. The room is very clean. However, the shower is cold! My coat and my husband's expensive Manchester United jacket were left behind in the wardrobe; till we realized that we left our coats whilst we drove up to north of Morocco. My husband called the hotel receptionist regarding our coats. Two weeks later we were returned to this hotel to pick up our coats. Out of blue, only one coat of mine was picked up but we presumed that one of their maids could been stolen my husband's Manchester United jacket. Unbelievable! As my husband had paid one of their maids for a tip! It's so sick!! Would call the Moroccan Police to come over and report against one of their maids. The General Manager should prepare to sack the maid out of her job. We will not come to this hotel because of the incident.

The hotels in Agadir are generally overpriced for Morocco. Odyssee Park is one of the few where you can get good value for money. The rooms are clean and have modern facilities. The pool is nice and big enough. The hotel is also quite close to the beach. The breakfast was not that great. There was a lot of choice, but the quality was not great. The bread and coffee especially. Wifi coverage was not that good. This wouldn't bother me normally on a holiday, but I had some important skype calls to make, which was virtually impossible. That being said, the overall quality of the hotel is good, the staff was nice and the price is right.

We stayed for four nights on bed and breakfast. We got a good rate, and for what we paid for it was good. The pool area was nice, the food by the pool was a bit expensive but fine. The staff were fine, the wifi is supposed to work in the rooms but it only worked in the lobby. The breakfast was nice, and things felt clean. When we arrived the normal rooms were all full so we got a suite, which was a really nice surprise! It faced the street which was quite noisy, but it did really bother us as we could sleep no problem. The room was clean and overall, it was a nice visit. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The hotel has an area by the beach, where you pay a small sum and get towels and beach loungers, and most importantly a parasol to protect you from the sun! this was a nice change from the pool, which can get a bit boring after a while. The location is good and overall I would recommend it if you are looking for a cheap and handy hotel.

We have had a lovely ten days at this hotel so starting with the positive. The hotel staff are friendly and happy to help at all times. The pool area is lovely and clean with plenty of beds and parasols and they provide clean towels every day. You should try to get a room facing the pool because rooms facing the road are noisy (over a night club) with out balcony or fridge. If you do get one of these rooms they will change rooms for you if you ask. On first impression the rooms appear clean but they are not great, the beds and towels are clean but really the rooms could do with a thorough good cleaning, our maid tended to barge In without knocking and somedays she took our towels early but then didnt come back to make up the room until late in the day leaving us without towels all day or being able to relax in the room, she also took any change left around assuming it was her daily tip. We found the breakfast to be ok but the evening meal was awful so we ate out in the evenings which led us to find a small cafe restaurant called 1001 nights where we could get a good meal for two away from the tourist area for about £8. Unfortunately you cannot get alcohol with your meal but if you are on a tight budget and cannot face hotel food or want to experience some local atmosphere this is ideal. Take a mini taxi from outside hotel for 20 dirhams and ask for sindibad hotel where you will find 1001 nights, don't be put off by shabby appearance and waiters are friendly and speak English. The hotel used to provide all inclusive and they appear to still be serving all inclusive type drinks at expensive hotel prices, the hotel bars tend to be empty so lack atmosphere. Outside hotel and to the right, up the lane you will find a small shop selling herbal teas, massage oils and offering massages, please beware, we got ripped off badly here to the tune of £100! Once you are in this shop it is very hard to get out and Rasheed will convince you that you have every ailment under the sun! If you haven't paid too much for this hotel you will get value for money, brush up on your French as it is the preferred language, ask reception for a local map and don't let taxi drivers rip you off. The min taxis can only go within a certain radius so no journey should cost more than 20 dirhams . September 2013

Well situated hotel, really close to wide and beauty beach with own facilities in guarded area. This keeps you isolated from any annoying chandlers offering fake watches or CDs. Nice pool. Good food. This hotel has been mostly dedicated to singles or couples without kids that is why you can rest in calm environmental. If you see cloudy sky in the morning - take it easy and don't panic!!!. Almost exactly in the mid day - sun will come out . This is very characteristic to this particular and modern city, which was almost completely destroyed some not long time ago...
Book yourself yo Marracesh trip. This is momething everybody "must see"...
Hope this will be of help.
Good Luck
