We have had a lovely ten days at this hotel so starting with the positive. The hotel staff are friendly and happy to help at all times. The pool area is lovely and clean with plenty of beds and parasols and they provide clean towels every day. You should try to get a room facing the pool because rooms facing the road are noisy (over a night club) with out balcony or fridge. If you do get one of these rooms they will change rooms for you if you ask. On first impression the rooms appear clean but they are not great, the beds and towels are clean but really the rooms could do with a thorough good cleaning, our maid tended to barge In without knocking and somedays she took our towels early but then didnt come back to make up the room until late in the day leaving us without towels all day or being able to relax in the room, she also took any change left around assuming it was her daily tip. We found the breakfast to be ok but the evening meal was awful so we ate out in the evenings which led us to find a small cafe restaurant called 1001 nights where we could get a good meal for two away from the tourist area for about £8. Unfortunately you cannot get alcohol with your meal but if you are on a tight budget and cannot face hotel food or want to experience some local atmosphere this is ideal. Take a mini taxi from outside hotel for 20 dirhams and ask for sindibad hotel where you will find 1001 nights, don't be put off by shabby appearance and waiters are friendly and speak English. The hotel used to provide all inclusive and they appear to still be serving all inclusive type drinks at expensive hotel prices, the hotel bars tend to be empty so lack atmosphere. Outside hotel and to the right, up the lane you will find a small shop selling herbal teas, massage oils and offering massages, please beware, we got ripped off badly here to the tune of £100! Once you are in this shop it is very hard to get out and Rasheed will convince you that you have every ailment under the sun! If you haven't paid too much for this hotel you will get value for money, brush up on your French as it is the preferred language, ask reception for a local map and don't let taxi drivers rip you off. The min taxis can only go within a certain radius so no journey should cost more than 20 dirhams . September 2013

Well situated hotel, really close to wide and beauty beach with own facilities in guarded area. This keeps you isolated from any annoying chandlers offering fake watches or CDs. Nice pool. Good food. This hotel has been mostly dedicated to singles or couples without kids that is why you can rest in calm environmental. If you see cloudy sky in the morning - take it easy and don't panic!!!. Almost exactly in the mid day - sun will come out . This is very characteristic to this particular and modern city, which was almost completely destroyed some not long time ago...
Book yourself yo Marracesh trip. This is momething everybody "must see"...
Hope this will be of help.
Good Luck

The hotel is nice but restriction on amenities. There is no room service , no pamphlets on what to do or where to go, map not available, small store to buy amenities closed, have to walk a distance to buy small neccesities, there is a small fridge in the room. If you would like anything you need to ask but you are not told what is available, Example instead of going for breakfast you can request a coffee maker ect in your room, but they don't tell you that, if u want to take your breakfast to your room you will pay additional. The cleaners for the room where very good and would inform you what was available,,,also gave directions, places to see ect, which is what the reception should be doing.

Room Tip: As in the last best western hotel in Casablanca found lack of information given ,relied on service s...

First the good points;

Breakfast is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. All the equipment in the rooms works. the grounds are pleasant and well kept. the beds are large and comfortable. The pool area is clean and there's plenty of sun beds and parasols, which cannot be reserved by east Europeans putting towels down in the middle of the night.

The okay points:

The evening meal is okay but a bit repetitive. Its supposed to be based a specific country but frankly, it isn't. There is a discotheque/nightclub on the premise, but thankfully it was closed when I stayed there.

The bad points:

Its located between two parallel, very busy roads. The access to the beach is down a dark lane (at night) which is full of hawkers and beggars who constantly bother you! The corridors are dark and there are only two very small lifts (one of which is extremely small). There is a small animal park next door, which can lead to an aroma of animal 'droppings' when the wind is in the wrong direction.

Overall it was okay but I would not recommend it highly.

The lobby of the hotel has an authentic Morroccan style, but the rest of the hotel is very dark and dull needs brightening up. The rooms are clean and adequate but the veranda is a concrete block so unless you are a giraffe you don't have any view. The pool area is nice but the pool itself was in need of TLC as tiles were missing and a whole piece of concrete from the pool edge came away. It was cemented next day. Cats are everywhere at the poolside they were drinking out of the pool, spraying in the pool and even washing themselves. At breakfast a cheeky cat jumped on to a guests table and drank from her glass she was appalled. I counted around 15 cats maybe more.
The breakfast is ok you will find something but it is a budget type buffet. There is a small gym and was adequate. The staff at the gym were pleasant and helpful. The housekeeping staff were really nice, but as for the rest of the hotel staff especially the restaurant you really thought they resented serving you. They looked bored, resentful and made you want to eat out. The hotel is in a great location min from beach and town and value for money as long as you don't pay to much. Wifi is awful so if you like keeping in touch this will only great on your nerves lol. Everyone was crowded into the reception and jostling for a place closest to the receptionist wifi. Overall thoughts on this hotel, clean, good location, good for budget traveller. Would I personally go back No.

We first saw Odyssee Park Hotel when we visited Agadir 3 years ago. It has a fantastic location near the beach and it looked in really good condition from the outside. I remember it exactly as it was on my most recent visit. The reception area in the hotel and the rooms are clean and in good condition. The bathrooms are the only let down and need refurbishing. The tiles are stained with age and there is plenty of room to install a shower if the hotel just had a review of the space. The pool was great. However, it’s not a good place to relax if you don’t like cats as some have made this their home and are very comfortable coming up to you and sitting with you for hours on end. The restaurant was adequate. Again, this needs updating as it’s in a brown colour and looks dull and gloomy at any time of the day. There is a themed evening meal every day, but the food never quite reflects the country that it is supposed to. The buffet selection is not huge, and it felt as if the restaurant and the staff need some life injected into them. That’s probably explains why the restaurant was never more than a fraction full each night. Breakfast was excellent with freshly made omelettes, fried eggs or pancakes. My kids found this the best meal of the day. We paid £50 for a room per night at the end of June 2013 for half-board. I was happy that we got a really good stay at a reasonable price at a well located hotel. The promenade, with Pizza Hut and McDonald's etc, are literraly a stone's throw away from this hotel making it a option for any family holiday

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the pool as the smell from the zoo next to the hotel can be quite strong...
