Booked with Thomas Cook, flight with First Choice.
Rooms: Standard hotel rooms, clean, comfortable and well maintained. Satelite t.v. went on the blink but this was rectified within an hour. Baths are on the small size but overhead shower fine and constant hot water.
Resturant: Food excellent, good and varied selection, well cooked and tasty. Always able to find something to savour and enjoy. Waiters friendly and nothing too much trouble. Its not often the head waiter brings coffee to your table to save you the trouble of walking to the self-service. Desserts to die for and plenty of them.
Pool Bar: Food not very good here and quite pricey compared to food outlets in and around resort, however, during our stay the chef from the resturant was seen to be giving instructions to the staff and the food quality and service improved.
Entertainment: Very good animation team, friendly and interested in all guests whatever their age or nationality. The usual pool games and bingo in at least eight languages. Entertainment at night a bit of a let down as this finished at 11pm approximately due to management not wanting to disturb guests. Disco/nightclub at hotel empty and even staff went to other hotel discos.
Beauty Salon and massage centre: Brilliant and well worth the price paid, much cheaper than at home.
Bar: Only real dissapointment, no atmosphere and prices on drinks a real rip off. You would expect to pay more for drinks in any hotel but a mark up of almost four times as much as prices in the supermarkets is insulting. One litre bottle of water 18 Dirhams in hotel 4-5 Dirhams outside, ditto alcoholics drinks and coffee, tea etc.
Overall a relaxing break but would not return. Your money will go further in resorts in Tunisia and there is very little to see or do in Agidir.
