Some of the reviews of this hotel are completely unfair and untrue. One even said that it is the worst place they have ben to in EUROPE! It is in North Africa and if you want an authentic experience as well as enjoying the comforts of the beach, Agadir is one of the bst places to visit to get some culture too! Enjoy a room with a view of th ebautiful coast, or the city and mountains depending on which side you are on. Either side you will not be let down! My friends were on 7thfloor an were addicted to the beautiful view.

Hotel Anezi has a pathway that makes the 2 minute walk to the beach more like oneminute! The English Pub and McDonalds is on the way, and the miniSouk and supermarket is also a stones throw. To top it all off, the best nightlife is nearby. Actors and Factory are around the corner, as well as some little bars and clubs to enjoy Middle Eastern pop and folk.

The Anezi has the cleanest and best kept rooms I have seen in the region, and was certainly much more modern than my recent stay at Jasmin Hotel in Prague! EVERY room has a view, and is well equipped with a safe, Tv and clean bathroom that comes with bidet, tub shower the works. The onlydownside is maybe the laundry could be cheaper.

The food is delciious wiht continental and reginal breakfasts. Coffee and tea as well as juice is on tap, unlike many places. I enjoyed the fresh fruit to keep halth, followed by using the gymnasium and sauna. What can I say about the outdoor pool! It is awesome an sometimes you have such a party there you don;t want to leave. The animators and local people certainly play their part. DInner was awesome and the tagine and local meats and fish are probably the best you will have anywhere!

The staff are typical of the best thing about Morocco: THE PEOPLE! The animation team entertained us, and accepted my friends challenege for an England V Morocco 5-a-side game. We had to cancel out their flair with our physical rough house tactics which they were not use to! Welcome to the Premiership. The poolside is kept alive by them, and I enjoyed the daily shows they did in roof garden which was an ideal warm out for a night out.

The reception staff were so helpful, and chamber maids kept everyhting in excactly the order they were. The best thing about the Anezi is the concierge service! The lady helpes me with everything from finding jetski's, quads, and cars for hire to leanring French pick up lines! I can't thank them enough and will be seeing them the nect time I go there.

People do ask for tips, but so what? this is part of their culture and they never ask for very much. People trip about this, but if some poor guy shows me the way to the supermarket and saves me time, what harm is giving him a few irhams? Everything else is so cheap it is unbelieveable! Taxi rides by the meter cost something like £1 to get across town. Tell them to show you the palace and take you to the major Souk. Another good visit would be the beautiful marina. Food is about the same, and bike rides/jet skis/ nights out and probably half of what you pay in Europe.

The authentic experience of their culture is somehting I will remember for along while. I will be going back and I will be staying at the same hotel! The best thing I like about Morocco was how frienly and helpful everyone was. The people are beautiful and so down to earth, Their culture is so deep adn their is so much hitory in Morocco outside Agadir which is within driving distance. If you are sick of the same thing different day, little britian chavski beer belied bum holidays then this is for you! If you like shopping, funm the beach and clubs but don't want to get ripped off then you will not regret this holiday!

This was my 4th visit to Morocco and was very dissapointed and a let down to a country that has a lot to offer the holidaymaker.
This hotel is more a business hotel than a tourist hotel, the Moroccan football team was there and lots of locals over the weekend.
Rooms were adequate but air conditioning did not work, no lock on the patio doors and the plumbing - its like an intercity in the room when flushing the loo, 3secs if you are lucky but upto 20secs!!!!
We were unfortunate to get 2 days rain which left the dining room like sitting in Niagra falls - very wet and dangerous one morning (like a scene from holidays from hell) but they did have it cleared up by the evening with only a few patches where water still dripped through the ceiling.
The reception staff were rude & unhelpful with the hotel BANK not being able to change a 100 note!!
The pools were nice and clean but freezing cold and you were unable to swim - such a waste. Towel and pool guys friendly.
No entertainment - there was a board but none of the activities happened. Music around the pool but I was nearly sent over the edge at hearing "White Xmas" for the 5th time one morning!!!
The food was ok with a good cold buffett selection, hot buffet at breakfast and diner plus orange and hot drinks at breakfast and desserts at dinner.
All together a very disapointing visit - this would leave me wondering about a further trip to Morocco even having had a previous good trip to Agadir and 2 trips in Tangiers.

The hotel was kept clean although it was not spotless. The bath had brown stains near the plughole and above the bath was dusty. Housekeeping was done daily although the hotel staff were stingy with the towels. We had 3 people in the room and werre only given 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels a day. We were not allowed anymore which was annoying. The restaurant was expensive charging per head so we only ate from there twice and the price did not include drinks.

The hotel reception staff were exceptionally slow in doing anything. On a number of occasions I went to the reception and in between moving to do things for me like phone technical staff ( cos the safe and phone was not working) they would start talking to their colleagues and do something else. To fix the safe it took 3 hours for them to send someone up to the room( annoying because I wanted to go out) I spent over 170 quid in this hotel only because I had a child with me (food and drinks) and at the end the housekeeping lady tried to accuse me of taking a facetowel ( for pete's sake) i had to open my bags to show the towel was not in there to security which further delayed my exit from the hotel. In the end the porter and guard apologised of course because the towel must have been found in the room but the reception staff did not bother..out of all the staff i can say 3 were friendly but overall i do not recommend this hotel. I visited Kamal where friends were staying and was impressed with the warm welcome by the staff. This hotel is kept very clean. It is best to go to a smaller hotel where at least the service is personalised and you feel welcome.

Do not go here - the staff are rude, the food is disgusting and like eating out with Indiana Jones in the Temple of Doom - the rooms are very basic - infact the best part about the room was that it had a bidet opposite the toilet so that you could throw your dinner back up into it 2 minutes after eating in the hotel restaurant - you need to have both ends covered as all control over faculties will be lost after a meal at this hotel! Also you must time your departure from the restaurant just right so you get back to your room in time for the afore-mentioned barfing/squits session as the restaurant staff like to keep you waiting for as long as possible to write out and collect numerous vouchers/tokens etc - we think this was a test of bowel and stomach control. Be prepared to have your wine thrown at you if you dare to ask for some with your meal - which you will because the only way to get the food down is by washing it down with bad wine and getting blind drunk. (If you have the energy to go to the shop at the bottom of the hill the same bad wine is about a 1/5 of the price but note that you will have to run the gauntlet of beggars - going down the hill is not too bad but they get you coming back up the stairs - so send out only the fittest members of your group for the wine run) After you have emptied yourself in your bathroom be aware that if you then go out to the balcony for some more bad wine you will be just in time for the boats coming in - you will know they are coming in as an overwhelming smell of fish guts will fill the air - ahhh the smell of Agadir! If like us you are lucky enough to have a sea view it will be slightly obscured by a beautiful five star hotel - when you can no longer take the hospitality of the Anezi i suggest at this point you pack your bags walk down the hill and check into the hotel across the road - forget about the cost - deal with that when you get home - trust me if you stay - the memories of the anezi will stay with you forever - we are only just able to speak about it now after a year of therapy - good luck if you've already booked!!!

I went for a week with my boyfriend. We arrived very late, everywhere was shut but we managed to get some dinner from the little restaurant which is on the hotel grounds.
The staff were really nice and very helpful. The rooms are clean, have all you need I suppose you could call them basic but there was nothing I needed that wasn't there.
I got my nails done in the beauty salon, it was an ok job, I could have done them better myself though!
The food was brilliant! Buffet breakfast and dinner, didn't need lunch as I ate so much at breakfast! There was lots of fruits and pastries then eggs cooked how you like in front of you, doughnuts, pancakes etc. All cooked fresh. Dinner was nice too, a bit more moroccan themed! I had an upset tummy one night, but it wasn't too bad!!
Locals are nice enough, stare a bit but nothing too bad. The souk was great, spent nearly everyday there!!
I had a great stay, would defo go back, although if I did I would defo take more sun cream!!
