“Good value, clean and friendly, your first choice if you want to stay overnight in Agadir”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2010

Stayed two nights with our son aged 12 as a first stop of our ten days tour of southern Morocco. In this rather dull town, this hotel is a pleasent surprise. Especially the pool area is a relaxing and quiet haven. for this price, the hotel Kamal is highly recommended!

“Great Value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2010

Spotlessly clean, super friendly and helpfull staff. Great location 5 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the cafes and restaurants for locals. best value for a hotel in my 3 trips to Morocco. Ask at reception about anything: they'll give you comments on different places with lots of information. We went for a hamman recommended by them and enjoyed. Nice quite swimming pool. I'd comme back 100% sure. Our room faced the swiming pool, external rooms might be a bit more noisy.

“Central Hotel with a Pool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2010

Good adress between the busy waterfront & the older part of town. Good sized pool, although not heated (but managed a few dips in March). Breakfast included, mostly consisting of coffee/tea, ornage juice with pastries, bread & jam. Check out the internet deals for special offers!

“Stay at this hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2010

Great location, great service, and great value.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff in all areas. The room was clean and sufficient - we asked for one with a "pool view" and got not only a pool view, but a view of the ocean in the background...awesome. The bed was fine, and the breakfast was minimal but sufficient - breads...two rounds. First they bring you the french breads, and then they follow with the traditional Moroccan stuff. Includes orange juice and tea/coffee. Plenty for us, but if you need more, plan accordingly.

Note that the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the beach boardwalk, but is close to a cool little souk and some decent restaurants.

Agadir in general is a fairly friendly place, but lots of beggars (more than Casablanca and Marrakech combined). A great 1 day getaway is to take a 27dhm each way 1.5 hour taxi ride (they squeeze the driver and 6 passengers into the taxi, so get ready!) to Tadourannt - much more traditional Moroccan experiences there given that Agadir was demolished in 1960 and thus is lacking in a lot of that traditional flair. And keep your eyes open along the way for goats in trees (seriously)!!!

Highly recommended hotel for those who aren't hotel snobs but want a good place to stay.

“A clean hotle taking you back to the 70's moroccan decoration era.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2010

We stayed for one night as passing through and after reading the reviews we thought why not try it, It was clean the staff were friendly and helpful and of course it was £50 a night including breakfast so cheap, I did giggle at the decor- time warp for sure. Breakfast was nice in the morning and location was a little walk away from the main strip and the beach but hey were not complaining!!
