“Wouldn't go back!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We booked this hotel after reading the reviews and were open minded.
The pool was okay and really deep. They did different activities by the pool throughout the day such as Zumba. The pool staff were really friendly and even though they couldn't speak brilliant English they all made an effort to come over and talk to you. The pool bar isn't very clean and was full of wasps. My partner had a drink and it was full of little ants or bugs which must have been in the plastic cup but you didn't have the option to make your own drinks, they done it for you.
I don't know where to start with the food. There wasn't much there we liked. There was birds constantly flying around and sitting on and eating the food and salads , which was a major put off. The burgers and chicken were really pink inside. They had pizza which is fresh but only get two small slices a time. The eggs that were made for breakfast were not cooked either and the White was still clear and runny. Not much choice if you got kids. The room was okay. Didn't really have any problems. Was basic but clean so can't complain. The reception bar staff were really friendly and made an effort to talk to you. The beach is at he bCk of the hotel across the road where the hotel has its own private sun loungers. We were above the night entertainment and could not hear it when we went to bed and had a view of the pool.

Room Tip: There is a hotel service charge which isn't stated very well. We paid around £20 for the week.

This was a little while ago but I have finally been able to wrote a review. We arrived and were barely greeted and were straight away given a service charge around £30 each I think. We were also conned when converting our pounds to moroccan currency (they gave us way less than we were supposed to get). All of the guests were French, we were the only English couple there and hotel staff were hostile towards us. Weather wasn't great. Hated the food. Didn't feel safe when walking around on the streets. Went for an excursion and taxi driver didn't turn up to pick us up, he then arrived drunk and taxi didn't have seat belts (this was at around midnight). Abdul on reception was nice however we found ourselves hiding from him at the end of the day due to him being so over-friendly. Overall wasn't great, wouldn't recommend and certainly wouldn't return.

Me and my partner booked the hotel in April last year. Was actually quite curious more than nervous after seeing the reviews on here. We booked for a week with Expedia and got our flights and breakfast included, for a little of £500. We didn't want to go All inclusive as we wanted the freedom to go around the town etc.

Let me tell you, some people really need to wind their neck in a bit and stop being so picky - the hotel is brilliant for what you pay.

I'm not too sure on the food at the other times of the day but the breakfast was fine. Pancakes, eggs, omlettes, cheese or ham, cereal, lovely croissants - made a real change for us as we never have time for breakfast at home. Orange juice s a bit sweet but the coffee from the machines was fine.

Staff are okay, we encountered some trouble at the beginning regarding our booking but they sorted it quite quickly, didn't really get much help after that - BUT Bin/Ben Said (man in the Féz to many) is a wonderful man and will help you as much as he can and this includes finding some great deals or arranging things for you. Thank you sir! It's nice to have security about the place too, I mean its pretty safe here but its good to know. Nice guys too.

The room was basic but ticked all the boxes, excellent fridge and our balcony was just right, sun all day.

Cleaner(s) did a great job every day by the way.

A lot of people say the corridors are dark - yes ours was (room 230) but didn't really have any impact on my stay in all honesty as lights come on triggered by a censor (think that should be the case in saving energy).

The beach is literally a 2 minute walk and you can access this from the back of the hotel (past the pool and dining area) but do watch out for the guy selling spices - he can be quite persistent. Just say you've already visited the Souk and have already bought some spices and he will leave you alone.

For those who don't book All Inclusive, lots of restaurants nearby on the beach, near marina (20 minute walk). I can recommend O Playa, which is excellent. Other restaurants dotted about, just do your research and you'll be fine.

The hotel is catered mainly for the French and you'll notice that the Germans have most likely paid a few big tips to the staff and so will get better treatment (but usually only includes their cups being taken to be refilled). Staff still polite though and the girl at breakfast who does the omlettes is always smiling.

No idea where people get the impression that the French are rude, everyone always greeted us with a "Bonjour!"

I was never really interested in the Animation day activities or night things - but my partner did some zumba by the pool and went to the evening entertainment at night and said it was good. The Animation team work really hard and do a good job. It can be a little noisy at times by the pool as can the evening entertainment but that finishes at 11pm which is good.

The hotel has a computer near reception and you can access wi fi but the signal was not strong enough for our room - not too much of a problem really.

Just like to say it was a great holiday and I not only recommend this hotel but Agadir as a whole as it is a great place. If you have any questions about the hotel or Agadir in general, message me and I will do my best to get back to you.

Room Tip: I was in room 230 - nice garden view and you don't hear the Pool entertainment too much in the a...

The hotel has a very low standard. The rooms are dark; the corridors gives the impression of being unsafe and neglected. Food is just casual; nothing special and difficult to choose sth that is edible. The drinks are very sweetvandcthey have just 4 to choose and all look the same.
The beachvhad benn awful and ocean brown-impossible to swim.
Only French people whi are very noisy.
The animation team hering English just escape

My husband and I stayed at the end of September. The hotel staff were helpful. The waiters in the restaurant bar & pool were very attentive. Yes it was mainly French, but they were great fun and included us. The entertainment was brilliant. If you like dancing this is the place to go, the animation team don't leave anyone out. There was a great selection of food and if you couldn't find a local dish there was pizza every day. The pool unfortunately got deep very quick so most of the people were in the first 20 meters, shame because is was a lovely area with plenty of beds & shades (could do with some hand rails on the steps as there are lots of them). No pool towels, you have to pack your own. The room was clean with adequate facilities but no kettle. The beach was very close with our own area with beds and shades, but no other facilities. The beach was clean and the sea clear sloping gently. Agadir a very French resort, had a lovely tourist train very good value. Goes past most of the hotels and back into the centre.

We stayed in February 2014, been surounded by organized parties of French holidaymakers, honestly can´t imagine being here when hotel is full. It gets very busy sometimes in dining room so bit waiting for table or food, but have to say, nice tasty choice. Beer in All Inclusive bar is good, wine acceptable and you can also get some mixed drinks. All staff very polite and nice people. Nice little terrace to sit for drink outside the bar area. Rooms not too big and some details missing, but clean and there's nice bathroom with bath. Pool area starts in the morning with animators organized program (all in French) and won´t stop till 5, playing loud music. Hotel also got private area with sunbeds across the street on the public beach. Not too bad for budget-priced hotel.

After reading the unfair reviews on this page me and my friends were quite unsure whether to book this stay or not. But after the holiday we were glad we did as we had such a good time. The only complaint I have to say is that this hotel is mainly catered for the French. They forget they are not in France as they never leave the resort and they are so rude and stuck up to anyone that looks foreign or English or from anywhere else !
