“Needs a good clean and better staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

Rooms need a good steam/spring clean. Bathroom tiles and door have super thick dirt on them which has been there for years. The cleaners are good but a general clean everyday for years is not enough.  They need to be given the tools/time/pay to give the place a thorough clean every so often.

Hate the tipping culture.  If you don't tip you don't get served as quickly. My omelette was left to almost burn every morning because I  dont see the need to tip if you don't want to as you've already paid for all inclusive! you should be treated the same regardless. The staff think you'll tip them when they treat you badly but thats not the case with me! I tip the nice ones and the ones that deserve it like the cleaner who I tipped everyday.

The bar staff were the worst. They'd leave you standing there for ages whilst they talk to each other in the back and they can see you standing there! But as soon as one of the tippers arrived they'd serve them immediately and before the none tippers, even though you'd been stood there for ages.

The waiters hold tables for tippers too in the main restaurant which isn't fair as people go early and even queue to get a good table.everyone has already paid for all inclusive so how can that be justified?! The hotel itself is lovely and big. It just needs better staff and a good clean but those two things really bring the place down. I would say 95% of the staff expect a tip. Tipping in any country should not be expected!

El Pueblo Tamlet. stayed here for 2 weeks from 18th September to 1st October,
fantastic had a lovely time. General hotel really nice and clean, cleaners and grounds men every were cleaning/gardening/painting ect. ROOM, not to bad a bit basic could do with a little update, but you only sleeping and changing in it...! lovely balcony looking over two of the pools, maid did a really good job, nice and friendly, fresh bed linen and towels daily, even put flowers in room, room no: H22. POOLS. if you get up early you will see and hear all the grounds men cleaning pools washing patios. putting parasols up ECT.. nice and clean. no need to rush to put towels on beds, NOT sure about big main pool we stayed by two smaller pools, a bit quieter than the main one..
RESTAURANT. staff really friendly and helpful, (if you tip them) only gave 20 dirham about £1.50, then same again for 2nd week, means when really busy they will get you a table as soon as you walk in sit you down get drinks tea beer ect... look after you.. worth doing saves standing waiting for a table or for a cup to get tea coffee ect. food is a bit repetitive same things for breakfast/lunch/dinner. But you will always find something you like..
ENTERAINMENT. very good a bit loud if you're sitting by main pool when it starts you can't hear yourself or friends talking, but if joining in singing dancing then great.
Amphitheatre is a must great fun and really good shows.
Outside of hotel. beach lovely... hotel has own part of beach with sun beds and parasols, if your
all-inclusive then free soft drinks as well...
A visit to the souk is a must. just for the experience. NOT THE FIXED PRICE ONE..
the main souk in Agadir. if you want something be prepared to barter. lol. great fun, if item is 300dir offer 120dir then go from there would pay no more than 150dir.. you will always find item round corner.. try again.. if you don't want to go in a shop be firm but polite. Red taxi, agree price before going, they have meters but don't like using them. pay no more than 10 dirham's each for any trip around town 75p. white taxis for long journeys and they cost more..
if you can a two day trip to Marrakech should not be missed. make sure you book with your rep. not from salesmen outside hotel.. must be world's biggest market, absolute manic/mayhem. lol.
snake charmers/horse and carts/ pushbikes/motorbikes/you name it..
it's there plus 1000's of people. would recommend Agadir /El Pueblo Tamlet..

Room Tip: Room H22 not to bad...

Be aware that on the complex u r safe but when u walk down the beautiful prom u r approached by male prostitutes all the time even in couples u r approached would not recommended to under 25 year olds not a place that I will b going again

Room Tip: Rooms r quieter on the southside

spent a great week end of september .great value for price paid .huge hotel spread over acres .very friendly staff always smiling .food was very good quality .lots of steps but after a few days you will find the slopes used for wheelchairs.having a camel onsite is a fantastic site in the evening.chocolate is a real beauty.the bar is very busy in the evening but if you leave a tip early each night you will soon be sorted.the beach is only a short walk from the road outside and is really beautiful.crashing waves some days .a lovely prominade to the town on the right .the entertainment team are the most attentive i,ve seen.very good music at main bar all day and night .late evening dancing is well worth watching .recommended for a good holiday

hi we stay here on the 21 sept till 28th sept 2013 when arriving i was very shocked as we got delayed and had to land in spain so when we got there at 11pm the reception if thats what you call it was a room outside with a opening the staff where very helpfull. THE ROOM ok the view was a roof from the entrance into the hotel this could be so much better with a little updateing all i can say is buy some bleach to clean the toilet and shower and take your own sheets they are grey or yellow and stink the maid never changed them while we was there take your own towels as we had 1 between 3 of us.The food is ok something for everyone but if your diabetic no diet drinks in restaurants the complex itself is very nice just the rooms that let it down. The staff and waiters are very nice did not havea problem with sunbeds i would stay here again just take my own stuff.

Hi readers - stayed here 26 Sep - 03 Oct 2013
Overall we had a relaxing stay here - great weather and a quiet pool area away from the more family orientated pools - good pool area for the kids if you take them.
The biggest gripe I have was the standard of the food - personally found it very bland, very repetative 3 out of 10 - staff very attentive but DO NOT GO IN HIGH SEASON as I dont think the resturaunts can handle the foot flow.
Themed resturaunts were generally poor (general concensus from people we spoke too)
Pools - no problem - plenty of variety - If you give the pool attendants a few derham they will get you umbrellas.
Rooms - basic but meet the needs of sleep - take some coat hangers with you - please also note that not all blocks have lifts or air conditioning. Maids were generally very good.
Cash machine in reception ok but select the French option - English option did not seem to work with cards.
Entertainment - you have too give it to the entertainment staff - they worked very hard to keep people happy - evenings around the main pool were fun however, there seemed to be a distinct lack of staff at the main bar - but they did their best under difficult circumstances to provide as fast as possible service.
Outside Resturaunts - I have no doubt that you will want too go out and get a proper meal at some point - most people we spoke too said the same "getting bored with the food" - having been to Agadir before, we knew of one particular place called the Resturaunt Scampie near the Kamal Hotel - Very Very good food and service - e.g. meal of 3 starters, 4 mains, 2 large glasses of wine and 2 beers came too around 900 derham (about £80 = £20 each) fillet steaks melt in your mouth - for a more up market experience the resturaunt at the Riad Villa Blanche was very good - booked in advance for anniversary meal with my wife - excellent all around but almost a hundred pounds for three course meal and bottle of wine - well worth it - Also the golden arches of MacDonalds will give you a welcom respite from the fayre on offer at the complex
Would I stay there again - I dont think so but I would go to Agadir again without a doubt.

Room Tip: Be aware that rooms on the same side as the casino have a night club nearby that can go on until 4am...

Have been here before so it was no surprise that things are still the same ............after 5 yrs ........
We asked for a view ...we got it
We know agadir well........we have family here ...so it was only as a base that we used this hotel .....however .......Hotel Tamlelt appears to have been downgraded somewhat The Caribbean Village Agador appears to have better accommodation.....we stayed in room J71 ......heck of a trek up the stairs......but worth it for the view ...lovely terrace sitting room , bedroom and bathroom ......not as clean as I would have liked but HEY HOOOO THIS IS AFRICA !!
Entertainment is fantastic ..the Amphitheatre is great for all of the shows ................preferred it to have been at 9pm instead of 10pm though, the animation team are fantastic ................. lack of english persons may be a problem to some ,we did not find that the case ..the morocains love to speak english and are welcoming ..will go back as is central to what we know ...will reccommend local restaurants exp . le Jardin

Room Tip: if you can cope with the stairs J71 is great for views over the complex and The Casbah
