“Paradise indeed:)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

This was a truly relaxing a beautiful holiday. The resort is about 40 minutes from the airport of Agadir...but no stress as there is someone waiting for you as you get out to drive you. For us this was Mohammed and what a nice guy, he really went out of his way to tell us a lot about the area and the country. He was the one who did the shuttle runs and was always waiting for us when we were done to take us back, he was so accommodating. At the hotel we had a few logistical issues with my mom who cant walk stairs and us wanting to be close to the restaurant so our baby monitor could reach. They literally moved us 3 times in order to make us happy, with no fuss or comments, they were so accommodating. We ended up with an awesome room with 2 bedrooms, which was perfect with the kids, so we could hang in the living area and balcony. The rooms are huge and have a kitchenet which is a bonus. Food wise, it was low season so they didn't have their full on menu but in the same breath they told us "do as you are at home so ask us anything you want". They did not lie, anything we wanted they made, including some very very good local dishes:) The surf house at the beach is where we spent most of our time, we were lucky there was some good surf a few of the days (beginner that is). It was a good vibe at the surf house with Rashid being so lovely with the kids and just fun to talk to. I ended up getting a very very good surf lesson from Tarik (who manages the surf house), very much recommend that. If you have any surfing issues he will straighten them out!
I also have to mention the kids club, there weren't many kids so Sana, who worked there, would take my 4 year old out in the pool and the beach....he loved her!!! She also did babysitting for my 12 month old and he loved her!
Honestly, every single person was accommodating in every way and really went out of their way to make sure you were happy. It was a very chill experience and heart warming. I have traveled a lot and been to very many resorts, hotels etc and have to say that this is one place I would most definitely consider going back to. I don't have any complaint. We were there 10 days, I think if we went back we might rent a car to have more flexibility, that is the only change I would make!
By the way...the spa is beautiful too and good prices! My mom, who came with us, got treatments every day!!! Óh and did I mention the Yoga.....wow...such a beautful setting (a little hut on the beach with glass sliding windows all around) and so zen, not to mention good classes (3x a day!).

Booked this hotel on a late deal end of August 2012. A new hotel,, Luxurious, comfortable and very welcoming with no pretencious clientel. On arrival the room itself on the premium self catering was so much better than some of the 4 or 5 * hotels I stayed worldwide. It was Spotless, comfortable , spacious. There was an option for buffet breakfast/lunch and dinner or to eat on the Piscine Terrace, stylish with food menu. The staff most helpful and welcoming, although most of the hotel guests were French /Moroccan but all staff understood and spoke English, however taking a French phrase book does come in handy. The pool/ beach and surf areas all offered lavish comfortable sunbathing areas, from padded with head rest beds, double foam matressed beds, lots of cushions and large beany bags at the Surf bar. The pool at night looks quite spetacular, lit up changing from a Royal Blue to Violet, with under water lighting. The beach just a few steps away, clean and clear waters, free of litter and offering camel and horse riding, water sports etc. The hotel offers free kayaking, tennis, ball games, small outdoor cinema (in French), at no charge. There is a program for surfers at all levels from beginners - advance, and the same with Yoga. The hotel offered Free WIFI in every area of the hotel, in room and even worked on the beach, connecting at the Surf bar. They do also offer a kids club, Spa and massage at the hotel. The currency was approximately 13.4 dirhams to the £1, a return cab to nearest town Agadir 27 kms away was in the region of 400 MAD (Dirham) £29, inclusive of a tour, driver who elaborated on waiting whilst we shopped. The hotel is approx 1 hour away from Agadir Airport, so if you are booking this hotel not as a package including transfers, the rate with resorthoppa.com is very reasonable. Other than the town, the area is quite remote from anything, so great for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The hotel itself does arrange tours, fishing, biking, quad biking, although the quad biking is on a narrow path, over looking very steep drops to the sea. Just outside the hotel is a road, 300 m to walk to the Aqua Park, which boasts a good selection of slides, with casual dining and also a small onsite restaurant, the aqua park is part of the local campsite, again very clean with a fun range of entertainment. I would definitely return.

we've been to Paradise Plage as a couple for only two days. at the beginning we get a warm welcome and our luggage was taken by a bell boy. in fact that our room was not ready (13.40) the receptionist asked us to wait for a couple of minutes in the nice lobby until our room is ready. A welcome drink (orange juice) has been served there.
the Room (Premuim Suite) was very comfortable and clean. the Resort is well organized and you'll find anything you need on the small signs in form of surf boards.
the first evening we decided to have dinner at the buffet (210 MAD p.P). the food was not very well presented and the taste was not up to a standard you will except from such a place. It was not too bad, but far away from good! The service agents are friendly, but they seems to be a little bit unorganized.the same thing for breakfast buffet, food is not up to standard!

all the rest was to our satisfaction: well, keep on working on the quality of your hotel (especially food quality) and we are sure that your hotel is going to be an outstanding place for surfers, lovers and families!

If you want to chill out for a few days, this is the place to be. Superb spacious rooms, great food, nice wine, great pool, beach at your feet. Staff that goes out of its way for you. As a family we participated in a yoga class, this was a great experience. Just pick this place, it will not let you down.

If you want to be away from the tourist central but near lots of great things to do in town, you want to be at Paradis Plage (Paradise Beach). The resort is about 20 miles north of Agadir. The resort is only open since 2012 and it is fabulous in every way. The Director of the hotel “Med” is very attentive and available, but his staff is so attentive and helpful you don’t have to worry about if he is available or not. Everyone in the whole resort is really working for you whenever you need something.

Set on a beach 20 miles north of Agadir, you have a beach to yourself during the week. It has more activity on the weekends as you will find more locals coming by. There are also Camel and Horse wranglers on the beach if you want a little local flavor right at your back door.

Our room was immaculate, with excellent plumbing and electricity. And most of all, the wireless access was not only dependable but EVERYWHERE. They must have a wireless router in every area of the resort. The snack bar, the room, the pool, the lobby. I got on all them the first day and they just connected automatically as I moved around the resort. As much as I don’t like to surf the internet when I could be surfing the ocean, when you want it, you want it, and it was flawless.

The food at the hotel was excellent every day. There is an amazing bounty of salads with every meal offering local fare as well as hot items both western and local. At lunch there was a grill going that changed a little every day from chicken breast, fish fillets, ground beef or lamb patties, etc. There was always multiple choices available so if you eat fish only, or meat only, there is always something for you. My wife has an issue with dairy and I was surprised how easy they made it to accommodate her diet. She rarely can enjoy every meal on vacation but she did here. Fortunately I eat everything and tried everything. Nothing was less than outstanding.

Wine with the all inclusive package was excellent, both white and red, and flowed whenever asked for as well as beer. Alcohol seems to be out of the all inclusive but you can charge mixed drinks to your room or anything after hours.

The staff organized a trip to Essaouira for us as well as taxis to Agadir and another night at a traditional Moroccan restaurant (Big night of meat, meat and meat). Everything they organized went off without a hitch. And these were pre-negotiated trips to an from which helped as haggling in the Souk (Open Markets) is fun, but haggling to get home is frustrating. The organizer Driss was of immense help navigating everything we needed to figure out.

The pool area is very relaxing, the game area offering Les Boules, canoe, and stand surfing as well as regular surfing has a great staff. Matik spoke perfect English (Although I prefer to suffer in French it was a nice break having him as a helper). Staff speaking French, Arabic, German and English are available so it is very accommodating to multiple nationalities.

My wife got three massages this week. She was a professional massage therapist and said the staff there was very good. By American standards, the price is excellent for the value. There are also Yoga classes every day in a nice setting open to the beach and the sound of waves.

The beach is several miles long and you are pretty much in the middle, so you can easily go for an enjoyable walk either way. It is a minute walk down the stairs and you are on the beach. The view from our room was fantastic.

We were here for a wedding which was a spectacular affair because of the resort. The staff, the food, the attentiveness and the fact that it went off without a hitch was pretty impressive. I think any of the people at the weeding would write the same review. I never saw so many different people (many who did not know each other or speak the same language) come together and have such a good time for a whole week.

5 stars all the way. We’ll be back.

Room Tip: We stayed in 212. Perfect for a couple, fantastic view. Very romantic as well.
