It was bad all the way around!! We couldn't check in 5 minutes before check in time. Only 1 good thing to say about the room is that it was big room. Got into bed and it smelled of mold, must, or something nasty!! They really need to replace the matresses!!! After the 1st night my husband and I both woke up with back pain. Not good when we were about to move a college student into his dorm that morning.

The Days Inn has now taken over this hotel, maybe they will clean it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Questionable business practices”

When requesting the room the price went up $10 a night after I showed relief in getting a reservation(busy weekend in Ames).Rooms were clean,beds were horrible.Breakfast was ok for continental.
The biggest problem was being charged $50 extra without notification for a mess in one of the rooms.And money had already been left to take care of it.
Will not stay there again as I feel they are on the crooked side!

“Neat Little Motel”

Pros: Excellent rate ($47). Friendly staff. Good location. Wireless internet works well. Huge TV in room (32"?). Very clean rooms.

Cons: None really. No pool or excercise room, at least as far as I saw.
