“unfortunately, not very good”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

General Tso's chicken breading was mushy and flavorless, Mongolian Beef OK but rather dry and the veggie egg rolls just plain awful. It's basically a Chinese take-out with a few noodle dishes and a couple of curries, and not a good one at that. There's much better Chinese at Taste of China down at 95th street.

“Red, Ready, A Good Read”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

We were invited to a birthday celebration with some close friends. We dined around 7pm. We were greeted by a person asking if we were with the party and they seated us with our friends. The atmosphere:
The outside is a red building with a red, wood and metal interior contemporary setting. It was quite atractive. My daughter commented that is looked like her "Minecraft" game with the blockish edges to the decor which I though was kind of interesting.
The food:
The menu is set up for sharing dishes which is what we liked. We had a hous specialty(Spichy noodles), perking duck mongolian beef, garlic chicken and a couple of fried rice dishes, The food tasted really good and was filling. what I liked was the waitress showed us how to eat the peking duck with the shopao-like pancakes and the sauce. It was reall delicious. Thanks you! I've never had it served that way so it was refreshing to have.

The experience:
we felt really confortable with the staff and had a great experience

Bottom line: This is a place to go and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

“Not a Place for Thai”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

I guess I should've stayed away from the Thai menu. The pad Thai was orangey and lacked flavor. The chicken reminded me of tofu. I had Won ton soup and only 2 dumplings with green onions n broth. I would give it another try but stick to the Chinese menu, perhaps tastier.

“Great Northern Chinese food, great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013 via mobile

Yes indeed, finally a first class Chinese restaurant in Aurora. The menu is quite similar to Chef Ping's in Arlington Heights. Very good northern Chinese cuisine, ie nice and spicy.

Hope this restaurants stays here for a long, long time.

“At Last”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

We finally have a 1st class Chinese restaurant in the Aurora/Naperville area. Great Egg Rolls, Peapod Beef, Brocolli Beef and Pad Thai. The decor is very special. After 15 yrs in Naperville they finally got it right. The servers were also outstanding
