Like most things in Aurora (the only thing Aurora excels in is the diversity and quality of its Mexican restaurants - it truly has the best Mexican food in the country and the most diverse offerings) the Casino is third rate.
If you are a die hard player and can deal with the small payouts and just want to work a system this may be the place. But there is no proper casino atmosphere like in Vegas; even the mom and pop joints off the strip are better.
So if you want casino atmosphere you have to go elsewhere. This really is a place that suckers in some out of town visitors after they see a show at the Paramount or a regular stop for one the myriad of local losers.
It really is a frumpy place, in unappealing surroundings. Down the block is Aurora's infamous restaurant row, filled with some 3rd rate also ran concepts that pass as cuisine in the food desert of a town. The only decent establishment is Chef Amuary and that place is very odd and out of place to say the least.
