Stayed here on business during a conference at the hotel and was very impressed. Continental breakfast was outstanding! The hotel opened around Christmas 2012 and is extremely nice - brand new decor with great design. All the beautiful wood furniture in the hotel was made by local Amish craftsmen. The local theme (country, Amish community) of the artwork in the building added a lot, yet it didn't feel "country"; it felt very modern. Meeting space was large and pleasing with exceptional catered food made by the Amish.
The only hiccup during my stay was in the price of the room. My coworker and I had two rooms. We booked at the same rate but they misprinted a higher rate on my registration. I informed the front desk agent of the mistake at check in and was told I was right, and that she would cross it out (not reprint it) and that I would have the lower rate. She crossed it out and I was satisfied. But at checkout the bill was still the higher rate and hadn't been fixed. We weren't worried but when we brought it to the attention of another front desk agent that morning, the owner or GM who was standing there said it was indeed the correct rate and didn't bother pulling the registration card. She wasn't rude but she didn't believe us and didn't bother to investigate. It was a missed opportunity in customer service. Not a huge deal (difference of $12-15) but fairly annoying from top management. But I would still stay here again. Service otherwise was quite good.
