This is a very long beach and very beautiful. There were numerous kite surfers that you had to watch out for, because they did not watch out for you. This is very inconvenient when you are snorkeling. The snorkeling was good. If the sun is too much for you, you can move to an area of trees for shade. We got lunch from a local truck restaurant parked in front of the beach and we ordered loco-moco , popular Hawaiian dish. It was really different, but good. There are public bathrooms, and picnic tables.
