“Great Museum Store”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

I did not visit the actual museum but I did go into the shop. I found several items to put away for Christmas. I would strongly recommend this shop.

“A Gem On The Riverwalk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

By any measure, this museum of displayed art is stunning. Changing special exhibitions encourage repeat attendance throughout the year. It is very easy to develop 'favorites' you look forward to seeing again and again. The works fit the scale of the display space beautifully, and the staff are always polite and welcoming. Always a fun destination after a nice meal downtown, with very modest entrance fee of only five dollars (free to the public every Sunday). An esteemed Augusta landmark.

“It's been a while”

I haven't been in quite a while, but I remember it being quite enjoyable. We were able to browse as part of another event on the property.

“Make a point to visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

This is the place I always direct visitors to our city to. Although not a large museum it has an impressive collection of Southern art, plus interesting traveling exhibits. Free on Sundays and just a nominal fee on other days it is very good value. The Morris also hosts artist luncheon talks, evening artist receptions and free music concerts.

“Beautiful collection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

The museum is sometimes overlooked because it is located in an office building....but it is not to be missed. The permanent collection is set up in chronological order...you can walk through history through the eyes of various artists. The museum also offers temporary exhibits, occasional classes and family free programs on Sundays. It is a wonderful part of Augusta that should not be missed.
