“A Pleasant Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

We came here after hearing about the place at another restaurant. Our bartender was personable and welcoming. Isn't that how ir os supposed to be? We just had drinks but the food we saw looked good too. A saving grace for Augusta downtown.

“unexpectedly delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

When it was suggested that we eat at another restaurant downtown, I was reluctant since we have had some bad experiences with new ones downtown. I was pleasantly surprised. The waiter suggestions were exactly as promised. The prices were reasonable, and the food was great. The dessert that we had was out of this world!
The only down side to this restaurant is its size. The tables are small. Better use could be made of the space with more tables. There are two tables outside, but they were occupied. One large group had made reservation, which was smart.

“New Place In Town and its a Good One.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

My wife and I have become regulars at the Boar's Head. Nothing fancy just good food and good Pub atmosphere. The service was excellent and the place has a nice friendly environment right on Broad St. I particularly like the Bangers and Mash and the Shepherds Pie. There are some really interesting appetizers. The beer selection is quite good but the Guiness on tap is what attracts us. Prices are reasonable and I can't forget the Burgers which are excellent as well. Give it a try.

“BEST hamburger and dessert!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

Their Stilton Burger was perfection...so good, it needed no mustard, ketchup, mayo...nothing else but what the great chef put on it. And the Sticky Toffee Pudding was by far, one of the best desserts my family has ever had - a must try.
