“Informative, Engaging and an Must-Do Experience in Augusta”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

Stephanie, the primary guide of Woodrow Wilson’s Boyhood Home, is the definition of true southern hospitality. More than just a guide, Stephanie told the story of Woodrow Wilson’s childhood with such detail, it felt as if I was witnessing it live.

There was so much history within the walls of this attraction and would definitely recommend setting aside an hour experience this in Augusta.

A truly authentic ode to President “Tommy” Woodrow Wilson’s early years.

“Interesting and Informative”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

A last minute decision to visit a childhood home of President Wilson unfolded more information about the man. Having visited his other home in Virginia, it was interesting to see how the years spent in Augusta influenced and shaped his life. Growing up during the Civil War and being on the spot to see the wounded soldiers right across the street must have been a sobering experience.

The home was lovely, interesting information and Stephanie - my tour guide - did a marvelous job of bringing his life experiences to the fore front.

The property is open Thursday - Sunday, so take that into consideration if traveling through. And they do tours on the hour.

“Marvelous museum and historical treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

This is a fascinating and wonderful home of President Wilson in his youth. The history, the home and structures, and the museum set up are just fantastic. One learns so very much about the man, his home, and family.

“If you are going to be in Augusta definitely stop by.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

The tour was very informative for myself and kids aged 11 and 13 and very reasonably priced. A little disappointed that not much in the house was actually there when Woodrow Wilson was living there. Also kind of a let down to know he only lived there for ten years. That is why I say if you are in Augusta anyway check it out but definitely don't drive to Augusta for this. We couldn't find anything else to do in Augusta so we ended up leaving after the tour. The tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and it was very cool to see the glass window that Wilson etched his name in.
