Just dropped in on a Friday night (not smart), and -- though they were very busy -- they welcomed us with open arms, and invited us to eat at the bar. That was the start of a perfect evening..... sipping wine on a sofa while waiting for a seat the bar.... and then enjoying one of the best meals we've EVER had. I had Foie Gras, followed by an unbelievable Cassoulet. My wife had Andouille Sausage (fantastic) followed by a Flatiron Steak (melts in your mouth). They brought her a salad by accident.... told her it was a gift (we split it). If this restaurant was located in Los Angeles (our home), it would be ranked in the top three. The Cassoulet was better than any I've ever had in Paris. The setting is lively and lovely (simple, but lovely). We happened to be driving from Atlanta to Charleston and stumbled into this restaurant, but it's worth a long detour to dine here. Thanks for the warm welcome and wonderful meal!
