“First time staying here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Overall I was very pleased with this hotel and room. The staff was great and everything was top notch. My only complaint is the variety of the breakfast items but thats not that big of a deal. The room was nicely laid out and cleaned. The A/C was super cold just the way I like it. The bed was not as comfortable as mine at home but thats normal I think. Planning on coming back again in the fall for football season. Found me a new hotel.

Stopped in for an overnight stay while visiting the area. Perfect location close to downtown. Very clean lobby and room, and staff were very friendly. Did not get to try breakfast as we were up before it started, but I am sure it was terrific. I would certainly stop here again if in the area. A++++

Stayed while attending the Master's tournament. Plentiful free parking in a nice area of Athens, with many amenities and restaurants within walking distance. The service is outstanding, they go well above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience. The hotel is in pristine condition, has a good gym which is very clean and new. The breakfast was included an better than many I have had to pay extra for, including a hot table with scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast and make-your-own Belgian waffles. They also have juice, coffee and bagels, fresh fruit, cereal and milk. The breakfast was of outstanding quality and very tasty.
The rooms very very clean and modern, with very comfortable beds, an nice decor. I have stayed in many hotels of various pedigree, and this hotel was the best managed, spotless and reasonably priced hotel I have stayed at. I will definitely stay here in the future, as it is clean, reasonably priced, in a safe area and has fantastic service and amenities.

We were lucky to find ourselves in a newly remodeled room! It did not face the traffic. It was packed yet we found handy parking. We can recommend this facility, their service and an easy location for Athens. Not at an intersection where walking is easy - Applebee's next door and adjoins parking lot though.

We recently did an overnight stay at this hotel as we were touring the UGA campus. For some reason, we were told it was walking distance to the campus but it definitely is not - you need a car to get there. However, the location of this Hampton Inn is still good - located on a major street. There is an Applebee's right next door or if you head across the street (but still staying on Broad Street), there's a Longhorn Restaurant which we dined at around 8 pm (it was packed and the food and service were very, very good). If you're looking for a grocery store to buy snacks and water as we did for our roadtrip, there's a nearby Kroger and Fresh Market about 2 minutes away. As for the hotel - the staff was helpful and prompt. The room and bathroom were very clean and inviting. The bed linens were crisp - nice! Internet was quick. It was nice to have many outlets available - 3 people with lots of iphones, ipads, computers and there was enough outlets for everything and all in the right places. Many thanks to the person at Hampton Inn Corporate Office who thoroughly thought this through :). Two drawbacks: we experienced noise late at night - it spilled from a couple of the rooms into the hallway; and there is no mini-fridge.
The complimentary breakfast had a good variety. Overall, we would stay here again.

This was a typical Hampton. Room was clean, food was ok, everything worked. The only negative was the road noise on one side of building. Close to shopping and downtown. A little hassle getting to the parking lot because of the one-way streets in Athens.

Recently, stayed at this hotel for a 2 day stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with some of the other guests being too loud late at night. Security addressed the issue promptly. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants around some within walking distance. The rate was very reasonable. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 2nd floor. I would request a room on a higher floor, some out door noise could be h...
