We had a great meal at Nonas. Creative cuisine with a Cajun flair and the waitstaff was excellent. A UGA alum had recommended this place and he was he spot on.

“Use caution during peak periods”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

Loved it more when it was bissetts, but still a great menu. We visited on a game day and that is a big roll of the dice. Folks who sat next to us ordered after us and were gone before we were served. It was a two hour experience and this was on a limited menu with no special requests.

Love the food. Keep an eye on the service.

“New Orleans type food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

The atmosphere is very nice especially if you can secure upstairs seating. The food is a bit weird for me since I don't love New Orleans type food. Food was good however but finding something I liked on the menu was a bit challenging. Definitely suggest making a reservation for dinner on the weekends.

“New Orleans in Athens”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

Very nice restaurant in downtown Athens. The service was great and the food was very good. We had fried seafood that had a very nice light batter that was not over fried. We also had the eggplant dish with ettoufee' (sp) with shrimp & crab. All very yummy.
