Visiting our son and his family who moved here a couple of weeks ago. Came here on a Friday night and it was about half full when we arrived....the 4 and 1/2 (a baby) of us were seated at a hugh table for eight in front of the kitchen. We got to watch all the food going to the tables and watch the chef hustling around preparing the food. It was pretty noisy...and they came at two different times after we were seated to remove extra place settings.
OK, the food was pretty good. Two of us had seafood & shrimp pastas....nice and hot (served hot and seasoned hot) and tasty. Hugh portions....took home the equivalent of a full plate. One had lobster ravioli and she finished it. My wife had a rigatoni dish with sausages, marinara sause and it was delicious. Salads were large enough to share....we split a spinach salad and a house salad. Dressing on the house salad was a little stronger than we prefer but we ate it all!!! Bread was heavy and pretty good.
It is a bit pricey: for the four of us with one wine (pretty small serving) and one beer was almost $100. Server was attentive but we had a pretty long wait between salads and main courses.....and all the dishes did not come at the same time.
Nice enough, but it just did not all fit together to make it into a great evening or dinner.
