Cheap sushi are two words that probably shouldn't go together but Ru Sans has a wide variety of sushi to order at prices that are extremely cheap and not that bad. There are $1 rolls and a variety of rolls and sushi pieces that are only a few dollars, that makes it the cheapest sushi I've ever ordered. For a dinner for 2 we paid less than 17 dollars for 3 rolls and some individual pieces, I've paid more than that for one person's meal at other sushi restaurants. So if you're looking for a cheap sushi meal this is the perfect place. The sushi isn't that bad although there are certainly better options in the area, however, you will pay more.
There were major some downsides of eating here however. One thing I find annoying are really long menus, and this is pretty much as bad as it gets. The menu was around 8-10 pages plus specials. There were hundreds of things on the menu making it hard to choose, complicating the matter many of their sushi rolls have made-up names so there are pages and pages of different options with no organization. If you're looking for a particular type of fish good luck trying to find it on the menu. The waitstaff was also not very attentive. After struggling with the menu for a while we had some questions about particular rolls, the waitress couldn't answer basic questions about the food. On the one hand I can't blame her because of the vast size of the menu but as a customer we should be able to have basic questions answered. We also never got our drinks refilled at any time even though there were only a few other customers in the restaurant. The waiters and waitresses were standing around the bar just talking in full view of all the customers while we were not waited on.
All in all I don't plan on coming back here, I'll pay a little more at another sushi place in town hopefully with better service and more knowledgeable waiters.
